What an EPI! I KNEW from the title I was gunna love it, but I didn't know what I was in store for! I really felt out of sorts, as I hadn't watched a reaction in a while, and I've had some tech issues, but I got my bearings. I even said Star Wars, LOL, WHOOPS!

Can't wait to hear what ya'll have to say about this one! Lots of call backs, things to think on! A very important episode, I think, as we move closer to the season FINALE!

Fascinating episode and great reaction! The thing that creeps me out is what images do you show to a seasoned Star Fleet officer that makes him scream with horror? Gives me chills. Poor Geordi. 😔

I hope you noticed the mystery Romulan woman they kept in the shadows. No spoilers!

This one falls a little flat for me. It's decent enough, there's nothing wrong with it. I just wished we'd had a little more Geordie in our Geordie episode. I feel like there was a chance to do more with the programming and the trauma afterwards. LB did a great job with the acting for those portions but then we spend most of the episode with him walking around like a robot. It's all very creepy, don't get me wrong. The fact that we the audience know what's up, how he seems alternatingly friendly then controlled, moving "O'Brien's" body to sit with the other officers as if nothing's wrong etc. I just feel like we could have done more to put Geordie/LB front and centre. It's Star Trek so of course I still enjoy it, and these are always more fun with reactors. Helps to inject life into an episode for me that I might otherwise be tempted to just call meh. Gosh that was a lot of words just to land on "it's ok" lol. Great reaction as always, A, see you in the next one 🫡

Hi Ames. It's not a spoiler and SAFE to know about no cloaking for Federation ships. The creator Gene Roddenberry established a strict rule - prior to the show ever aired in the 1960s - that the utopian heroes of the Federation should not rely on stealth. For Roddenberry, a heroic crew should confront challenges openly and directly, rather than "sneaking around" the galaxy like their Romulan and Klingon rivals.

Solid ep! Love it when Data saves the day and gets all boss like, That Is An Order! Not all heroes wear capes, some wear beige pyamas.

Thanks Ames for the reaction. Good episode. Data comes through.

I think Data should have acted A LOT sooner. With potential murderers, you don’t wait to stop them until you have 10 ways to prove it. Act immediately!! Otherwise, I absolutely love this episode. The music is scary and the camera angles and fish eye lens are super effective. They play it super cool until the very end with how Geordi is written.

Ames, you did a great job with this reaction, even though you felt out of sorts at the beginning. I always feel like the show is new again (even though I’ve seen most of the episodes 10 to 20 times each over the last 35 years) when it is with your reaction. It’s thanks for doing these!

Awesome reaction Ames! I love it when you get fired up! 😂 This would have made an interesting 2-part episode. They could have done so much more with Geordi's character, the actual "brain-washing" process and images, and also with Data, Beverly, O'Brian, Troy, and Riker piecing together the mystery.
