RFK Fan generously sent me some of his beloved DVD's so I could have on hand for WOW spins and the channel! It's was an incredibly kind and generous gesture that I am incredibly grateful for! A lot of these have been on my must watch list! (One starts with Deer ends with Hunter) >>Wink Wink Nudge Nudge<< I thought this would be a really fun poll and an awesome way to say thanks to RFK!

Now, I think RFK FAN needs his own Top 100 List because this list is pretty EPIC! Every movie lover should add these all to their MUST WACTH list!

***Approval Voting Style so you can vote for as many as you like!

Happy Polling!

Many good ones, but Deer Hunter, Ghandi and Leaving Las Vegas are my picks.

John Courtright

A great list. There's a pretty good chance we'll watch at least one of my eight picks. 😂

Kim

Lots of great movies but the Summer of 42 is very special in my humble opinion.🥰😢

Bubba Fett

I've only seen like three of these I'm just gonna let this one shake out and see what comes out on top.

RFK Fan

This was like being forced to choose between my children but I'm gonna recommend CINEMA PARADISO only because I think that's the one you walk away with the most moved. It's the ultimate movie lovers movie and has, I think, the GREATEST movie score in history by the late great Ennio Morricone.

JM63

Great list! Glad to see The Deer Hunter winning Manhunter is also really great

Michael T

Gandhi is probably the best movie on the list, in overall quality. But I think, Ames, you also might really enjoy seeing Cinema Paradiso or Monsoon Wedding. Anyway, have fun!

william johnson

So generous. I do like Deer Hunter, Gandhi and Gallipoli, especially. You cannot lose on any of these films.

Don H.

Too bad Match Point slipped under too many people's radar. It's a fantastic film and deserves to be more widely known!

Clay F

A. I voted my top 3: -DEER HUNTER (1978) -LEAVING LAS VEGAS (1995) [Nicolas Cage Best Actor Oscar well-deserved] -GANDHI (1982) [I last watched (w/my son) in 2017 before we visited India. We went in Gandhi's house in Mumbai.] B. The next 3 that I voted: -An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). [for nostalgia and I like Debra Winger. My daughter likes this movie.] -Munich (2005). RT = 78%. I really like this movie. My kind of movie. -Open Range (2003) C. Lastly, I voted these 3: -The Insider (1999) -Bound (1996) -Match Point (2005)

Jason

Hi Ames, it’s Sawyer! I voted for Leaving Las Vegas because I like it and I desperately don’t want Deer Hunter to win. You rock! 😬

Nathan

Wow. "Intense" is at least one thread running through most of these films. Ames, by the looks of it, you might find yourself needing to put up a comedy poll after this one!

Jason

Deer Hunter has it won. Anyone live near Arizona who would be willing to come by my home and smother me with a pillow while I sleep? 🙁
