Wouldn't mind seeing foreign language movies as a theme. Many gems there as well.

Ooooh!!!! LOVEEE this poll!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕

John Brennan

Have you every seen Watership Down? It's an animated film from the late 70's based on a novel by Richard Adams. The book was banned by some schools in the US as they felt it was too violent.... but the main characters are a warren of Rabbits.

Catchermag

If western’s win, I entered The Unforgiven on the last wheel spin thingamabob….just sayin 😌

Big Willie Dickins

Ideas for a Western poll The Proposition (2005) Pale Rider (1985)

Spooky Dooky

The only western I'll watch is Firefly. Or anything with Kenny Rogers and the Chipmunks!

John Courtright

If we're doing Westerns, I guess that includes The Mandalorian and Firefly right? 😀

Spooky Dooky

So many great options for the Animated Poll... Big Hero 6, Iron Giant, Wall-E, Your Name, Avatar The Last Airbender (the show, not the movie)

Western: **The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) (Eastwood stars/directs) [RT=91%] [nominated for Oscar for Best Music, Original Score] Other westerns I like: *Pale Rider (1985) (Eastwood stars/directs) [RT = 93%] *High Plains Drifter (1973) (Eastwood stars/directs) [RT = 94%] [questionable scene] *Dead Man (1995) (Johnny Depp) [Haunting & atmospheric instrumental music (e.g., electric guitar) written & performed by Neil Young that fits the movie perfectly.] *Dances with Wolves (1990) [Won 7 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director (Costner)] *Open Range (2003) (Costner stars/directs). Also stars Robert Duvall.]

I'd like you to react to "True Grit" (2012), the Coen Brothers interpretation. Follows the book better.

Stephen Knueppel

For Western I'd love to see you react to The Undefeated with John Wayne and Rock Hudson. Great movie with action, humor, romance and you'll see an after affect of the Civil War I bet you've never been aware of.

John Courtright

I'm holding out for a surge of votes for "Director". LOL. 💡 Maybe we should periodically do a Wheel of Movie Wonders spin of just Academy Award "Best Picture" Winners (perhaps minus ones Ames has already seen or reacted to, like Forrest Gump, Schindler's List, The Deer Hunter, etc.). Just a thought.

I voted Director but looks like Western is gonna win. In which case I’m lobbying for DANCES WITH WOLVES or OPEN RANGE …
