■ TESLA $TSLA ($214.11, +3.80%):
- Per Tesla's Mark Lupkey (@MarkLupkey), "V4 Superchargers are open at Buccees in Bastrop, Texas. Let’s go!" I missed their activation by 1 weekend... Follow Mark!
- On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein in Manhattan ruled in favor of Elon and Tesla over insider trading accusations that accused Elon of defrauding investors by promoting the trading of Dogecoin. He was accused of using several X posts, his 2021 appearance on Saturday Night Live, and other publicity stunts to inflate Dogecoin’s price. Per Alvin, "The posts were “aspirational and puffery, not factual and susceptible to being falsified."
- According to BLoomberg, Tesla is looking to hold the Robotaxi event at Warner Bros. Discovery Inc.’s movie studio in Los Angeles. Tesla has not confirmed. I'm still hoping it will take place at Giga Texas.
- The Tesla Toronto Automation BBQ event.
- European authorities have approved the import of the Model Y 7-seat variant from Giga Shanghai. Though not being produced yet, with this approval production is expected soon. According the TFF forum, Tesla will continue to only produce the 7-seat option for the LR variant.
- According to Chris Zheng (@ChrisZheng001), the Giga Shanghai battery of the new Model Y will be adjusted. The 7-seat version of Model Y is different from NA and is specially supplied to China. The Model Y hatchback (Juniper) will be released next year and delivered in 2026.
- Deutsche Telekom, affiliate of T-Mobile, and their Tesla Telekom Mobility Solutions Service vehicle finished the 777 kms drive from Bonn to Copenhagen in 9 hrs and 20 mins. The 1st charge after 260 km was at a Comfortcharge in Rinteln. The 2nd charge after another 260km was at Comfortcharge in Stockelsforf. They finished the remaining 280km to Copenhagen without charging.
- Tesla App Updates (iOS) (@Tesla_App_iOS), has de-compiled version 4.36.5 and Smart Summon may be in the final stages of release. Strings like "backing up for better visibility," and "slowing down when nearing the allowed range" has been seen. They see no more debugging strings being added.
- Boost Mobile Cybertruck by Reddit u/ReturnReggiesHeisman.
- Tesla has launched the referral program in Canada. Referrers can earn up to $6,500 CAD for the year. The purchaser gets a $1,300 CAD discount off a new Tesla.
- Tesla Canada is offering a 1.99% interest rate for Model Ys if you take delivery by the 30th of September 30th.

■ SPACEX:

- Test Booster B14.1 now has drop pins that will grab the Chopsticks as the booster is caught. At least that is what it looks like to me. It is going to be interesting to watch once they start this test. Great shots by Genna (@genna_hammer). Follow her by following her account!

- Polaris Dawn weather forecasts continue to show unfavorable conditions in the areas along Florida’s coast where Dragon would splash down. Once teams identify the next best opportunity for launch and return, SpaceX we’ll provide an update. Falcon 9 and Dragon remain healthy and vertical on the pad at 39A.
- To bring home Starliner crew Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, NASA has announced that Zena Cardman and Stephanie Wilson have been removed as crewmates for the SpaceX Crew-9 mission. Astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov will fly to the ISS no earlier than Tuesday, the 24th of September. Zena and Stephanie will be eligible for reassignment on a future mission.
Countdown to 144 (83 - Falcon 9, 1 - Falcon Heavy, and 2 - Starship):
Launch 87! Thursday, 29th of August, at 10:41 p.m. PT, Falcon 9 Starlink 9-5 will launch from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The booster will land on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
Launch 88! Friday, 30th of August, at 3:38 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 Polaris Dawn will launch from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. This will be the first mission of the privately funded Polaris program. This mission is to last up to five days in orbit, fly higher than any previous Dragon missions, perform the first-ever commercial EVA with SpaceX-designed spacesuits, orbit through portions of the Van Allen radiation belt, conduct medical research, and test laser-based Starlink communications. The booster will land on drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
Launch 89! Saturday, 31st of August, at 1:39 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 Starlink 8-10 will launch from Space Launch Complex 40 (SCL-40) at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
Launch 90! Monday, 2nd of September, at 6:56 a.m. PT, Falcon 9 NORL-113 will launch from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This is the third batch of satellites for a reconnaissance satellite constellation built by SpaceX and Northrop Grumman for the National Reconnaissance Office to provide imaging and other reconnaissance capabilities. The booster will land on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.

■ STARLINK:
- Starlink has informed its Brazilian customers via email that Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has frozen its finances, a move linked to his ongoing disputes with X and Elon. Starlink assured users that their service will continue uninterrupted despite the financial blockade. That is over 250,000 customers that will get service free of charge if necessary.
This action has sparked outrage among Brazilians, who are grateful for Starlink's role in connecting remote areas and its humanitarian efforts, like providing internet support during the Rio Grande do Sul floods. The community expresses a deep sense of gratitude towards Elon and SpaceX, recognizing their commitment to Brazil's connectivity as an invaluable contribution. Many feeling that the company's actions reflect a level of dedication rarely seen from foreign entities.

Per Elon, "Many remote schools and hospitals depend on SpaceX’s Starlink! SpaceX will provide Internet service to users in Brazil for free until this matter is resolved, as we cannot receive payment, but don’t want to cut anyone off. SpaceX and X are two completely different companies with different shareholders. I own about 40% of SpaceX, so this absolutely illegal action by the dictator Alexandre improperly punishes other shareholders and the people of Brazil."
Brazil's Defense Ministry sent a letter highlighting the importance of Starlink for its military operations, indicating that any disruption could jeopardize national security by affecting missions and strategic readiness. Canceling the contract could compromise Special Border Platoons in remote areas. de Moraes's actions against Starlink could potentially undermine its own national security interests by risking the stability and effectiveness of its military communications and operations.
Per Elon, "Starlink will continue to support the Brazilian military even though our bank accounts in Brazil have been illegally frozen by Judge De Voldemort."
- On the 28th of August, Entel Empresas and Starlink celebrated their partnership with more than 200 guests at a mind-blowing experience inspired by connectivity and space. Presented at the Entremuros, an event center located among the heritage ruins of the Ex Casona Pío Díaz de Valdés in Santiago, Chile, execs of both companies along with special guest Astronomer and National Prize for Exact Sciences, José Maza, gave presentations. Attendees enjoyed chamber music with members of the Chilean Symphony Orchestra and were able to observe the stars through telescopes arranged at different strategic points of the Entremuros. Wow!

- X Global Government Affairs (@GlobalAffairs) anticipates a shutdown order from Judge Alexandre de Moraes in Brazil due to their refusal to censor content, including that of a senator and a minor, which the judge deemed as opposing him politically. Despite legal efforts, X's Brazilian legal representative faced threats of imprisonment and financial repercussions, with their appeals largely ignored by the Supreme Court. X is not demanding that Brazil adopt U.S. free speech standards but insists on not violating Brazilian law itself, highlighting a commitment to transparency by planning to disclose all related legal documents.
- On Thursday, Texas Federal Judge Reed O'Connor denied the motion by nonprofit media watchdog Media Matters' to dismiss a lawsuit by X. The suit will now head to trial next spring. Per O'Conner, "X has properly pled its claims." And with Texas-based advertisers named in the suit, O'Connor said that "X sufficiently alleges a substantial part of the events occurred within the Northern District of Texas."

- It is being reported that Elon has hired political strategist Chris Young in a role to expand field organizing and get-out-the-vote efforts. This will allow Elon to more closely direct the America PAC (@theamericapac).
