■ SPACEX:

- Shortly after a Wet Dress Rehearsal yesterday, SpaceX announced that IFT-5 of Starship 30 and Super Heavy Booster 12 is ready to launch as soon as the 13th of October, pending regulatory approval. Both Christian Davenport (@wapodavenport) and Eric Berger (@SciGuySpace) have stated that there are murmurs of an FAA approval. The FAA has posted a second NOTAM for S30's splashdown in the Indian Ocean starting on October 13. Last night, two water deluge test took place, simulating one for launch and most likely one for booster landing. Video below by Jack Beyer (@thejackbeyer) for @NASASpaceflight.

Per SpaceX, "The catch attempt of the Super Heavy booster will require healthy systems on the booster and tower and a manual command from the mission’s Flight Director. If this command is not sent prior to the completion of the boostback burn, or if automated health checks show unacceptable conditions with Super Heavy or the tower, the booster will default to a trajectory that takes it to a landing burn and soft splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico."

- As of this post Ship 30 has been destacked and the Flight Termination System is being installed on Booster 12. It looks like this is a go!

- NASA and SpaceX are now targeting Sunday, the 13th of October, at 3:05 a.m. ET, for the undocking of the Crew-8 mission from the ISS. This is due to weather conditions and potential impacts from Hurricane Milton across the Florida peninsula.

- Astronaut Matthew Dominick took these shots out of SpaceX Dragon Endeavor's window. You can see Dragon Freedom docked to the ISS in both. The right is with the red and green aurora in the distance. The left is Hurricane Milton...
