■ TESLA $TSLA ($262.51, -2.48%):

- This weekend Giga Texas held a Frunk or Treat event for employees. Among the games and decorations, Tesla put the all new Robotaxi on display! Per Tesla's Mark Lupkey (@MarkLupkey), "The Workplace team did an absolutely fantastic job planning this one. Such a fun time at Frunk or Treat with friends and family! Robotaxi is much like Cybertruck was initially, CGI in real life. My son didn’t want to leave! 🤣Happy Halloween, all!"

- Cybertruck is now eligible for the referral discount. Get $500 off Model 3 and Y, and $1,000 off S, X, and Cybertruck.

- Tesla has extended its 5-year 0% APR loan in China until the 30th of November.

- Tesla is inviting the Auto industry to join in a new standardization to reduce the cost and complexity of electronics. Tesla is implementing the Low-Voltage Connector Standard (LVCS). This reduces the connector types required to only 6. These 6 device connectors are designed to meet the power and signal requirements for over 90% of typical electrical device applications. This standardization unlocks further operational efficiencies, cost reductions and manufacturing automation. LVCS expands upon the same 48V electronic architecture used for Cybertruck.

- Tesla was at the 2024 World City Day in Weihai, of east China's Shandong Province. They displayed Optimus, Cybertruck, Model 3 and Y. H/T Tsla Chan (@Tslachan).

- Per Tesla Semi Lead Dan Priestley (@danWpriestley), "We work closely with our customers to ensure they have the appropriate charging solution for their operations. By leveraging the in house built hardware common with Tesla Charging and experience from deploying >60k DC posts, we can often deploy fast charging for Semi at ~$500/kW (fully landed cost to customer). Not uncommon for competing installations be >2x that. Tesla’s vertical integration, economies of scale, and developed construction techniques enable this savings and help make Semi even more compelling."

- Last Friday, Tesla's Fremont Factory built their 1 millionth Model Y at the GA4 tent. Today marks 14 years since Tesla opened their Fremont Factory to produce Model S.

- Per Tesla's Lars Moravy (@larsmoravy), "Tesla Semi is coming in mass shortly and we made it so compelling, anyone who does not use it will be left behind! Tesla's goal - make products people love - or in this case, heavy goods transportation companies."

- Per India's General Secretary and Minister of Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, Lokesh Nara (@naralokesh), "I visited the Tesla headquarters in Austin. I explained to Tesla CFO Vaibhav Taneja the possibilities and advantages of investing in Andhra Pradesh in the field of manufacturing electric vehicles internationally. Under the leadership of visionary leader Chandrababu, we have aimed to achieve 72 gigawatts of renewable energy production in AP by 2029, and we have sought the help and support of top global companies like Tesla to achieve our goal..."
