"It will be asked..." - Elon

■ TESLA $TSLA ($338.23, -0.11%):

- Cybercab is now on display in the Meatpacking district of New York City. Pics by Maxwell Aronica and his Tesla Team.

- There is a Tesla Cybertruck at Black Hat MEA in the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center of Malham, Saudi Arabia. Pic by Chris Wysopal who says there is a semi you can hack in the truck hacking area of the event. No pic to verify this. Black Hat MEA is the largest cybersecurity event in the region and runs from today until the 28th of November.

- Per Elon, "Optimus is a very sophisticated robot. It will be immensely difficult to get the cost to $20k. Not easy at all, but it will eventually happen. Production volume needs to be above 1M/year for that. Price will be driven by demand, but eventually even price will get to ~$20k."

- In Singapore, Tesla and Artisan Green set up a green wall filled with fresh microgreens and locally farmed vegetables next to Cybertruck. This is a week-long event showing the fusion of sustainable energy and sustainable food. The opening day had a cocktail and mocktail bar set up on the truck’s tailgate. Artisan Green also unveiled plans for their upcoming 2-hectare farm in Sungei Tengah. This state-of-the-art facility will feature a fully automated farm, an experience center, and a farm-to-table dining concept.

- More pics of Giga Berlin's Christmas decor. Per Tesla Production Specialist Vitalii, "Festive vibes are in the air, and the energy of the future is right next door! Looking at the sparkling Christmas tree and the Tesla building, you can’t help but feel the perfect blend of inspiration and innovation as we approach the New Year."

- Cybercab testing at Giga Texas!

- California Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna has stated the following about California Governor Gavin Newsom's EV rebate excluding Tesla, "Tesla makes over 550,000 vehicles in Fremont in my district and employs over 20,000. Let's not play politics with keeping manufacturing in California. It would be foolish to exclude Tesla. Have we learned nothing from snubbing Elon Musk at the Biden EV summit?"

- Several Model 3s, retrofitted for police use, were spotted in France on Monday. Not a lot of info here, but French law enforcement is expanding its electric fleet.

- A physical recall has been placed on 27 Model Ys built between the 23rd thru the 28th of October, 2024, at Giga Texas. According to Drive Tesla (@DriveTeslaca), "An insufficient weld penetration in the driver and front passenger seat recliner mechanisms that could compromise seat durability and occupant safety during collisions." Owners will receive free seat replacements starting January 2025 under warranty.

- The Alumni Talent Alliance (ATA) organized an exclusive visit to the Tesla Beijing Xiedao Delivery Center, Tesla Asia's largest delivery hub. Tesla's team offered a tour and an engaging session, sharing their mission to "Accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy."

- Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Now has two cranes for what appears to be resumed work on the Starship launchpad. One is at the tank farm and the other near the Tower.

- Job posting by SpaceX for a Structural Engineer was posted. Of intrest is that it said "Giga Bay"! It has since been changed to "Starship Production". As you read on it says SpaceX will move into a new phase of facility and infrastructure growth as the Starship launch cadence ramps up. They need "multiple high rise facilities to support new vehicle builds and reflight refurbishment across various sites. We are currently seeking structural engineers to serve as highrise specialists supporting rapid development and build of Starships next generation vertical integration facilities. It is these facilities that will ultimately enable the path to the Moon, Mars and beyond." H/T Niall Ian Anderson (@INiallAnderson).

- NASA selected SpaceX's Falcon Heavy to provide launch services for the Dragonfly mission to Saturn’s moon Titan. Dragonfly is a rotorcraft lander mission under NASA’s New Frontiers Program. The mission will sample materials and determine surface composition in different geologic settings, advancing the search for the building blocks of life. It is targeted to launch from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the 5th of July, 2028. The firm-fixed-price contract has a value of approximately $256.6 million. Pic of Elizabeth (Zibi) Turtle, NASA Dragonfly principal investigator, holding a model of Dragonfly.

Per SpaceX's Ben Longmier (@longmier), "With Europa Clipper and now Dragonfly, we are def going to get a chance to search for the signatures of life on Europa and Titan within our lifetimes. Every new paper I see about the origin of life on Earth moves the start clock earlier and earlier to basically a moment in time when the Earth had large bodies of liquid water and some sort of nice energy gradient to feed off of. Just think of the instruments and craft that can be sent to these destinations with Starship."

- Two SpaceX Falcon 9 boosters positioned at North Cargo Berth 5 of Port Canaveral.

■ ELON NEWS:

"What did you get done this week?"

- Per Elon, "The goal of DOGE is to speedrun fixing the Federal Government. Requires many anomalies in the matrix."

- Per Elon, "The F-35 design was broken at the requirements level, because it was required to be too many things to too many people. This made it an expensive & complex jack of all trades, master of none. Success was never in the set of possible outcomes. And manned fighter jets are obsolete in the age of drones anyway. Will just get pilots killed."
