■ xAI:

- Yesterday, Doug McGowen, President and CEO of Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW), responded to the letter from Gloria Sweet-Love, Abre’ Conner, and Kermit Moore of the NAACP, demanding they shutdown xAI's Colossus in Memphis. McGowen, was not pleased with the NAACP's underhanded methods, and he made it clear. He clarified that MLGW, as a municipal utility governed by local, state, and federal laws, is obligated to provide non-discriminatory utility services to customers like xAI, which selected a location previously zoned for industrial use.

Doug McGowen, President and CEO of Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW)

He emphasized that the jurisdiction falls under the Shelby County Health Department, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and the Environmental Protection Agency. McGowen refuted the NAACP's claims of misinformation and baseless accusations, highlighting MLGW’s transparency efforts, including community conversations with the Memphis City Council in August of 2024 and updates on the MLGW website. Doug demanded an apology for the NAACP’s inflammatory and baseless claims, asserting they harmed MLGW’s reputation. I highly recommend reading Doug's letter.

- Per Elon, "I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it. It will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt. In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people."
