"It will seem silly that people even thought all that hardware was ever needed..." - Elon Musk (@elonmusk)
■ TESLA $TSLA ($340.47, -2.35%):

- Tesla Energy announced the Powerwall 3 is now available in Malta.
- MSM is going wild, but as always, the Elon hate and drama is their top priority. They are using the NHTSA request for routine information after influencer videos showed minor traffic violations, like lane deviations and abrupt braking. MSM has exaggerated this as a major issues despite overwhelmingly positive rider reviews praising smooth, comfortable experiences.
- Equis Australia's has started construction on the Calala Megapack site southeast of Tamworth in New South Wales. It will consist of 138 Megapacks at 250MW/500MWh and power 115,000 homes during peak demand. The project includes a 100MW/200MWh offtake with Smartest Energy and a 150MW/300MWh merchant portion using Tesla’s Autobidder platform. Project is expected to be complete by 2027.
- The foundation work at the 250MW/500MWh Williamsdale Megapack site just outside Canberra, Australia. This project is a component of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government’s Big Canberra Battery initiative. It is developed and operated by Eku Energy, with Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) overseeing construction. It is expected to be operational by mid-2026. Pics are by Road and Rail Excavations who are contracted to install the electrical infrastructure.
- You have until June 30th in the U.S. to get a new Model Y at 1.99% APR for up to 72 months. This deal requires 15% down, but you can apply the Federal Tax Credit towards that down payment! Must take delivery by June 30th.
- Here are a few new stores coming online:
Tesla Experience Centre on Level 1 at Westgate in Singapore.
Tesla Tsuchiura Store at the AEON MALL in Kamitakatsu, Japan.
Tesla Experience Centre at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
New store opening this weekend in Glyfada of Athens, Greece.
- French anti-fraud authorities ordered Tesla to stop deceptive practices, including misleading claims about its vehicles' full autonomous driving capabilities, vague sales contracts, and delayed refunds, following a 2023-2024 investigation by the DGCCRF. Tesla faces €50,000 daily fines if it fails to comply within four months starting today.
- Here are the first images of Tesla's new Mumbai showroom under construction at Maker Maxity 2 North Avenue in the BKC (Bombay Kurla Complex). Takes up a large portion on the ground floor. Pics by Manish R. Jain (@mrjain).
■ SPACEX:
- Pilots Alex Davies and Chris Bullock of TUI (Touristik Union International), caught this amazing pic of Falcon 9 Starlink 10-23 as they flew over Belgium heading west to London early Monday morning.
- Yesterday evening, launch 80 of Falcon 9 Transporter-14 took place from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This was the 26th flight for first stage booster It previously launched NROL-87, NROL-85, SARah-1, SWOT, Transporter-8, Transporter-9, NROL-146, Bandwagon-2, NROL-153, NROL-192, and 15 Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
This was SpaceX's 14th dedicated rideshare flight to a sun-synchronous orbit with 70 small microsatellites and nanosatellites for commercial and government customers.
Per SpaceX VP of Launch, Kiko Dontchev (@TurkeyBeaver), "Reusability on Falcon and smart dispenser engineering have slashed the cost per kilogram to low Earth orbit (LEO) and boosted annual launch slots. This has lowered the barrier to entry for space startups, allowing them to test tech in orbit with just seed funding, giving hundreds of ideas a shot. Starship will push this further, dramatically cutting cost per ton and increasing launch availability in the coming years. It’s like jumping from the Oregon Trail to 747 jet flights in under 20 years. Who’s ready for an entirely new era of human progress?! Let’s gooo!"
- Yesterday, during the Starbase City Commission meeting, approval was made at SpaceX's request to install gates at four intersections; St. Jude Street, Memes Street, Esperson Street, and LBJ Boulevard. The goal is to restrict public access to most of the city due to safety concerns, with exceptions for residents, employees, approved personnel, first responders, and law enforcement. Per City Manager Kent Myers, "It’s basically to regulate the constant flow of visitors that are just coming through here, wanting to look at the community."
Per City Commissioner Jordan Buss, "Those of us that live in the city have experienced more than our fair share of events with folks who aren’t necessarily here for the right reasons. Aren’t necessarily here to provide any good reason to be in the city... So, this has a lot to do with the public safety and security of the people that live here. And, again, with proper need to be in the area, we’ll work out that access. Absolutely."
- - New flyover views of Massey have dropped from multiple content creators. WAI's (What about it!?) pics give us a great perspective of how fast SpaceX is moving by how clean the site already is. It almost looks like nothing happened. When you look at RGV Aerial's pics, you can see they have started to consolidate a lot of the damaged materials into one area. Pics taken by Jordan Guidry (@Jordanguidry6) for WAI (@FelixSchlang) and RGV Aerial Photography (@RGVaerialphotos).
- Raptor 3 SN19 was spotted at the McGregor, Texas, test facility on its way to the Raptor South test stand. Pic from @NASASpaceflight's live feed.
- Aerospace Technician Courtney Knox at Vandenberg Airforce Base with a well seasoned SpaceX 1st and 2nd stage Propulsion team and payload integration team.

It will enhance weather forecasting and air quality monitoring by using an Infrared Sounder (IRS) that measures atmospheric temperature and humidity profiles. Plus, an Ultraviolet Visible Near-infrared Sounder (UVN) that monitors air quality and trace gases.

■ STARLINK:
"Dreaming of limitless connectivity with Starlink..." by Marta Presutto of MetroWatt, Italy.
- Starlink Ireland for the year 2024 has reported a near doubling of pretax profits of $13.9 million, with revenues surging 94% to $693.79 million! This was driven by increased sales to residential and enterprise customers, including aviation and maritime sectors. The Dublin-based unit saw after-tax profits of $12.03 million after a $1.84 million tax charge, with staff numbers rising from three to nine and cash funds dropping from $61 million to $14.86 million.
- Starlink UK profits rose from $3.1 million (£2.5M) in 2023 to $5.2 million (£4.2M) in 2024. Pre-tax profit increased from $149,000 (£121,166) to $250,000 (£203,456). Sales sales surged as it expanded its role as a gateway services provider. SpaceX plans to grow its U.K. customer base, following a six-month trial in Scotland and Ofcom's proposed temporary spectrum licenses to boost capacity.
- Per Mike Katz, President of Marketing, Strategy and Products at T-Mobile, "Announced our biggest Un-carrier milestone yet! T-Mobile is now THE Best Network in America. For years, wireless customers had to choose between best network and best value. Not anymore. With T-Mobile, they get the best Network in America with connectivity anywhere you can see the sky with T-Satellite; officially launching July 23. Data-based apps like Starlink, 𝕏, Apple, Google, WhatsApp, AccuWeather, AllTrails, T-Life and more will work with T-Satellite too, starting Oct. 1. We’ve spent over a decade tearing down industry tradeoffs – and this moment proves it: customers really can have it all."
