- Latest images of the Tesla Diner posted by Club Elon Musk (@clubelonmusk).

- Per Elon, "Optimus V3 is going to be 🤌 Excellent review w/ Tesla Optimus team... it will be something profoundly special." He also confirmed that Optimus is already running a Grok voice assistant!

Per SpaceX VP of Falcon and Dragon, Jon Edwards (@edwards345), "I was lucky enough to get a tour of the Optimus lab a couple of weeks ago and my mind is still reeling. It felt like I was peeking into the future. We’re in the pre-Optimus era right now, think life before smartphones or the internet. Everything is about to change." Jon was the Falcon 1 Lead Engineer. He and his team changed the entire space industry. Him saying this is mean a lot about the state of Optimus.

- The Commissioning of the 600MW/1.6GWh Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub (MREH) Megapack sites in Victoria, Australia, is imminent. The first two units have entered the AEMO Market Management System for testing. The 444 Megapack project is developed by Equis and the Victoria government-owned State Electricity Commission (SEC) at a cost of AU$1 billion (US$660 million). The entire MREH is expected to be fully operational by late 2025.

- The City Council of Charlotte, North Carolina, voted 6-3 to remove Tesla from its approved EV vendor list, citing "instability" concerns raised by Democrat Council member LaWana Slack-Mayfield. She pointed to safety issues and lawsuits involving Tesla's Autopilot. This decision affects 15 of Charlotte’s 178 electric fleet vehicles. This was criticized as a politically motivated move by Council member Ed Driggs, who argued it was inaccurate and only meant to target Elon’s political affiliations.

- Today, Giga Berlin held a company meeting. Jörg Steinbach (@joergstb), former member of the German Federal Council, was in attendance and noted noted he "recalled what a stroke of luck Giga4 is for the employees and Brandenburg at a time when German companies are making massive production cuts and layoffs." Plant Manager André Thierig (@AndrThie) is speaking in the first pic. Pics are by Jörg.

-Yesterday, U.S. District Judge Tana Lin in Seattle ruled that the Trump administration cannot withhold $5 billion in National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) funds from 14 states. She found the February freeze illegal as states had already invested resources expecting federal support.

- According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), for May, Teslas registrations for new vehicles across the EU, UK & European Free Trade Association were down -28% YoY, despite a +25% market increase in EV sales. In the first five months of 2025, Tesla registered 50,413 new cars in the EU, which is down -45.2% YoY.

- Last night, Tesla Energy dispatched 345MW from the Powerwall fleet in California, reducing reliance on fossil-fuel peaker plants. This event was part of the Tesla-PG&E Emergency Load Reduction Program. The program aggregated over 20 hours of battery capacity at a steady 350MW of which the owners receive compensation for their participation. The coordinated effort matched or exceeded the 2-hour dispatch duration of traditional peakers, aligning with ISO-NE standards.

■ SPACEX:

"A little bit more of humanity is in space today." - NASA

- Early this morning, launch 81 of Falcon 9 Axiom Space Mission 4 (Ax-4) lifted off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

From left to right, the Crew consists of Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla (India), Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu (Hungary), Commander Peggy Whitson (United States of America), and Mission Specialist Sławosz Uznański (Poland). Their flight indicator was a swan named Joy. Pic by John Kraus (@johnkrausphotos).

This is the maiden flight of Crew Dragon C213. After ascent, the crew officially named the spacecraft Grace! Grace is the fifth and final Crew Dragon to ever be built by SpaceX. Per Commander Peggy Whitson, "Grace is more than a name. It reflects the elegance with which we move through space against the backdrop of Earth. It speaks to the refinement of our mission, the harmony of science and spirit and the unmerited favor we carry with humility. Grace reminds us that spaceflight is not just a feat of engineering, but an act of goodwill to benefit every human everywhere."

The was the 2nd flight for first stage booster B1094. It previously launched a Starlink mission. Booster returned to site, and landed at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Crew Dragon Grace and Ax-4 are targeting to arrive to the International Space Station (@Space_Station) at 7 a.m. ET this Thursday, the 26th of June.

- Today, launch 82 of Falcon 9 Starlink 10-16 took place from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A0) at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. This was the 20th flight for first stage booster B1080. It previously launched Ax-2, Euclid, Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, NG-21, and 13 Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic Ocean. 27 Starlinks were deployed.

- Yesterday evening the Hot Stage Ring was seen moving into Mega Bay 1.

- Republic, a New York-based investment startup, is offering retail investors exposure to SpaceX through tokenized shares on a blockchain, starting this week. The investments ranging from $50 to $5,000. The tokens, which track SpaceX’s private share performance without granting ownership, will be priced based on secondary market trends and issued under a Regulation Crowdfunding exemption. Republic plans to expand to other private companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, amid regulatory uncertainties and a pro-crypto U.S. administration.

- Today, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced plans to sue SpaceX over "debris and contamination" from Starship launches. She said Mexico is reviewing international laws to file lawsuits, with officials conducting a comprehensive environmental impact assessment for Tamaulipas. Of note, these are U.S. FAA approved test and there will be an increase in launches to 25 annually. Good luck Mexico.

■ STARLINK:

- HD Hyundai, Korea's largest shipbuilding group, announced they will deploy Starlink at its Integrated Digital Control Center in Ulsan to enhance real-time connectivity for sea trials in remote coastal areas. Pending final regulatory approval from the National Radio Research Agency, the deployment will begin this month with SK telink installing Starlink hardware. This will allow uninterrupted data flow between vessels and the center, supporting real-time monitoring of fuel use, equipment status, and navigation, as well as research into autonomous navigation. HD Hyundai will be the first domestic shipyard to adopt Starlink.

- The Deputy Minister of Digital Economy for Sri Lanka, Eranga Weerarathne, announced a pilot project is underway for Starlink with 10 devices deployed to 10 customers. Performance is being evaluated via customer feedback and the findings are being submitted to the government and Ministry of Defence. Eranga said that a request has been made from Starlink to establish an office in Sri Lanka, to handle customer complaints. Full activation is expected within a week or two.

■ X:

- In the past two days, X Japan's Yoshiki Ito (@YoshikiIto3) hosted X seminars in Fukuoka and Nagoya, focusing on using the platform for store attraction and sales. Attendees particularly interested in practical applications leading to post-event individual consultations. "After the seminar in Fukuoka, I had the opportunity to engage in several individual consultations, which are precisely the types of challenges I am eager to address collaboratively. The Nagoya seminar was nearly fully booked, and I am immensely grateful to everyone who listened so eagerly for the entire hour and a half. It feels a bit odd to say it myself, but hearing many attendees say it "really hit home" fills me with joy! Let's make the most of X together!"

- X has hired Rosemarie Esposito (@RosemarieE) as their Media Strategy Lead, and Victoria Gillespie (@Victoriawaw) as their Europe, Middle East, and Africa Communication Lead.

- Auto-translation is starting to roll out. It has started for iOS and web. H/T P4mui (@P4mui).

■ xAI:

- xAI has opened an official 𝕏 account for their data center in Memphis! (@xAIMemphis).

- xAI's Colossus facility in Memphis had 3rd party independent air quality tests commissioned by the City of Memphis from the 13th to the 16th of June. All tests showed levels were either too low to detect or well below established safety thresholds near the data center. This counters local opposition driving by the NAACP and Democrat politicians using enviro race fear tactics. Per Memphis Mayor Paul Young, "The initial results showed no dangerous levels of air pollutants at any of the tested sites. We are committed to ongoing testing to continue to inform and protect our community. The City doesn’t control air quality regulations, but we stepped up to find answers." Mayor Young is a major supporter of xAI and what they are bringing to the community.
