Finally one of the most prominent features of EVO has made it into a release: This update introduces the teasered cloud randomizer that comes with several hundred new randomly applied cloud shapes. For now this includes only dry clouds with damp and wet clouds following in future updates.
Update 0.2 also includes weather and particles for 10 new stages, previously released through the RallySimFans team and some fixes and updates to existing ones.

DOWNLOAD UPDATE v0.2 (patreon)

Just extract into your Richard Burns Rally root folder to merge the Maps folders.
The changes made to the stages by this update are then automatically applied, no manual installation after that is necessary.

This update includes updated versions of sub-update 0.11, 0.1.2 and 0.1.3 as well as some extra features (namely clouds).

Go into your Service Park Launcher, go to settings and activate whatever cloud randomization option you prefer (it is set to "on start-up" after installation). You can combine them to your liking. See manual or video for detailed information.

Richard Burns Rally EVO

this is a nerve wrecking update for me since it´s the first one that alters the code of the Service Park software. It was stable while testing, even when I was testing stupid and random inputs, but if it causes any issues, let me know.

please check your DMs here on patreon, you have a 3 month old message from me asking for more details, that is waiting for a response. As far as I understood the issue, I´m sure it can be resolved but I need more information to pass along to the RSF team (seems to be an RSF issue by the way)

Hi, today I downloaded the entire mod and drove on two different maps with fiat 126p and for some reason my entire screen is foggy. What could be causing this issue? Edit: The screen inside of the car behind the windshield. When I change the camera to outside view, it becomes normal again. Edit 2: It seems that when I reinstalled the pack and ran the game again, the issue has fixed itself.

This sounds an awful lot like the known issue of the reshade preset and its DoF effect. RBR determines distances weird in the cockpit view: everything further than the dashboard is considered "infinite distance" and is therefore rendered blurry. There are only bad solutions to this: - don´t use cockpit view. meh. - turn off DoF (shortcut ctrl a) while driving from cockpit view and turn it back on in replays etc. meh. - double right click and activate/deactivate the checkbox next to "show car exterior". Distances will be determined correctly but you will have a darkening effect layed over your windshield. meh.

I actually reinstalled the entire game 2 more times and reinstalling the EVO mod and/or Reshade after the initial installation process seems to be a consistent way to fix this. Other than that the issue has appeared in every installation attempt and one was on different PC.
