.... so regarding this DLSS5 thing for RBR: I had a look into it for the past several days and tried it myself. I’ve seen some RBR related DLSS5 videos and wasn’t really convinced, especially considering the enormous performance hit this new neural rendering causes (even the author of the video linked above is not happy with the results...).
My verdict is that for now this technology is not really suited for RBR. Yet. It certainly will be in the future as this tech will only get better and more optimized. But for now you can achieve better results, way less performance hungry with some reshade shaders.

Funny enough, the Dynamic ReShade Presets are basically mimicking the neural rendering of DLSS5. It’s just that in this case, I AM your neural renderer, applied and set up by hand for ‘each’ weather individually. Which of course is sub-optimal but surely something that is going to be replaced by some AI algorithm in the future.

I would have loved to tinker with the DLSS5 settings (maybe there is something to gain from further tweaking its settings) but as it turned out, my GPU is simply not capable of doing it.

However, I was able to get it to run in theory. At the bottom I provide you the links and files necessary to try it out for yourself. If you have the hardware to run it, maybe you can come up with some great settings to share, or you might want to just have a look at what this technology might hold for us in the future.

I iterate: none of the files provided for this DLSS5 hook are mine. I’m just sharing the files.

The setup is pretty easy by now: just follow the simple steps provided by the attached manual. It installs and downloads everything for you automatically. However, you will probably need a 50 series GPU to run it properly. I simply don’t have the resources to do so (I'm on a 3060ti).
SET-UP:
- drop the .ps1 file in your RBR root
- right click inside the folder to run your terminal
- paste this line in:
powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\Install-DLSS5Feeder.ps1
- answer and verify the prompts and follow the steps provided
(see detailed instructions in the .txt file below)

Pro Tip: I recommend trying this on a separate RBR installation, just to be safe. This DLSS5 installation will install a new reshade version and preset, potentially messing up your current settings, especially when you start tinkering with it.
