Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! This is going to be a super brief hangout as we're currently in Connecticut. Yes, Connecticut! For those that don't know, Dishonestly Yours takes place in a fictional town in this state, and we're so thrilled to finish out the tour in Mystic, CT that is often referenced in the book thanks to Hailey Tinrock's love of Mystic Pizza. We're soooooo excited to see some of you at the event!

THE SIGNED BOOK STORE

Our signed book store is restocked periodically. Keep checking it to see if a sold out item has been stocked. Any new updates will be posted here:

📍DELAYS:

We'll be traveling during the tour and away from our signed store. If you order anything between June 25th and July 14th, please know there might be a slight delay in shipping. Thank you for understanding!

📍CHARACTER NOTES:

We'll have another restock of Nobody Like Us were you can request character notes in the book. All other books only include character note bookplate add-ons

📍SIGNED BOOKPLATES:

Once we sell out of our current inventory, we will be transitioning the store from signed books to signed bookplates. There will be a note on the book's product page if it will include a signed bookplate instead of signatures inside the book.

If you REALLY need to finish your collection with signed books, NOW is the time to order them. Once a book sells out, the next time it's for sale on the store it will be signed via bookplate.

oooh !!! I love Hailey -- I feel like I relate a LOT to her in some aspects, but also relate a lot to Phoebe. At the end of the day, Trevor gives me major Eliot Alice Cobalt energy with his chaotic self and I'm most intrigued about him. BUT ALSO I LOVE NOVA & OLIVER. UGH!!!! how am I supposed to pick? Okay, fine we'll go with Rocky

It’s hard to pick a favorite since this is only book 1, but I think for now my favorite is Trevor!! I loved all the scenes he was in, and his sense of humor :)

I love phoebe ☺️ her character was amazing and the descriptions she’s giving and what she is fighting through made me love how in depth of a character she is! i also love how rocky is and even though he is always grumpy he still has his real emotions

My fav is Oliver!! (I have a type🙂‍↕️🩷 ) The DY book tour has been soooo fun to observe and it looks like everyone has been having an amazing time!! I would have **loved** to have gone to the event in Phoenixville (🐦‍🔥) , but I couldn’t make it work :((

I’m waiting until the sequel is released to declare an official favorite (I take my character adoptions very seriously haha), but as of right now I’m the most intrigued by Trevor. His Pinterest board is the one that I’ve been looking forward to the most, I’m super excited to get a little more insight on him! :) I really do adore all of the characters, though! Oliver reminds me of Eliot in some ways (which might be an unpopular opinion / my vibes-meter might be broken 😅), but I’m excited to see more of him as well! ——— I hope you’re having an incredible time on tour! I’ve been keeping up with all of the content that’s been posted of the events and everything looks so fun + magical! 🦄✨ I was wondering if you’ve seen what the theme for the upcoming season of “Big Brother” is (👀)? I’m not the biggest fan of it — I’m worried about the “twists” that will come with this theme — but I’ll survive (🙂‍↕️). We should be getting a cast announcement soon since the premiere is next week, so that’s super exciting! I can’t wait to have the live feeds back, summer doesn’t feel complete without them. I’m also ecstatic about the “9-1-1” season 8 premiere announcement! September 26th is so soon (🥹)! I’ve seen people trying to theorize about how the bees in the announcement could be connected to the opening emergency, but my brain is having trouble viewing bees as the contributing cause to a large multi-episode disaster (lol). I’m excited to see what ends up happening with that, though!

I loved the whole cast of characters! From Dishonestly Yours my favorite characters were Phoebe, Hailey, and Rocky. I especially loved Rocky & Phoebe’s POVs!

i don’t think i can pick an absolute favorite yet! i feel like we still don’t know all the characters well enough for me to be concrete in picking a favorite. but i love the kids as a collective group. there’s this trauma that seems to sit with them and it seems to breed an unbreakable loyalty. like when, through rocky’s POV, hailey says she thinks they all “love when a love that was more than love.” something really strong sits between them and i adore that. also, im superrrr intrigued by trevor. we got very little of him but he feels cataclysmic (in the best way, and i mean, he is pegged as the psychopath lol).

I think I’ll say Rocky because I enjoyed being in his head… his perception of people and events felt honest to me (since he’s always honest with himself… he said so lol) and I liked seeing the other characters through his eyes… but Oliver intrigued me and I wanna know why Trevor is a “psychopath”, and how Jake fits in with the other six

I wanted to know if you plan to write bonus scenes from the parents POV (Connor,Rose,Ryke and Daisy) of the situation with what Tate did to Winona and what Ben did to Tate before you release Burn Bright or do you plan to show they're reactions in Burn Bright? They’re gonna get this request again when we finish NLU in the book club cause that’s like top of the list NEEDED scenes from Ryke/Daisy’s POV… throw the rest of the Core 6 in too or just with Nona/Sulli… either works and will be heartbreaking to read but I neeeeeeed to know!!

This is going to be really random but I was watching a show and this girl’s name was Kincaid, and went by Cade as a nickname… I thought I’d share since I know how you love traditionally male names for girls and vice versa! Coincidently, the character’s last name was Sullivan 🥰

I love unisex names, one I came across last year was Murphy. I've never heard the name Murphy being used as a girl ❤️

It’s hard to choose, but I’d say Phoebe or Hailey! I love all the characters though and can’t wait to get to know them even more over the next 2 books! On an unrelated note, last week I listened to the podcast from a couple months ago on tv show/movie/book recs and loved it! I binged Heartbreak High over the weekend (yes, the entire 2 seasons🙈 I can do a good binge if I have a little bit of free time🤣). Also, Becca did you watch season 2 of Fire Country? I am looking forward to Season 3 starting in October!

I’ve met an Austin, Logan, Trystan, Charlie, Ellison, Eliot, Keegan, Jamison, Kellyn, Teagan, Masyn, and Devan that were all girls too… unisex names are awesome!! (I also notice that all of them but the 2 Cobalt kids names end in an N 🤣 and a lot differentiate with adding a Y somewhere in it 🤔) Murphy is a new one though! How different!

Now I feel old! Because my mind immediately went to Murphy Brown. And that show is a bit before my generation, but I feel like it was on a lot in the background when I was growing up. I mainly know the actress who played Murphy Brown (Candice Bergen) from her prominent side character roles in Sex and the City and Miss Congeniality.

Just watched the BB premiere last night and the theme is…interesting. Did not expect that AI robot graphic to be straight from the 2000s 😂 It was so jarring haha. Becca is pumped for more 9-1-1! I still have to catch up 🫣
