The October race is over and the results are in! We're going to be discussing all things Xander Hale during his journey throughout Nobody Like Us. We can't wait to do a little deep-dive on Xander during the last book in the Like Us series since he has lots of pinnacle moments, and he's one of the characters you'll see as we embark on the Cobalt Empire!

I love xander so much. This one is for me. 😭🥲 Lily see a lot of herself in Xander and he kind of struggles with the same stuff as lily and lo (ofc different reason) did in their books. How are lilo gonna convince themselves to let him go to new york and live there knowing what they went through in their uni years?

In one of the bonus scenes, Xander and Easton tell Moffy that Easton is in a friends with benefits type of situation with someone. And in another bonus scene, Vada mentions how she wants to lose her virginity that year. Also when Easton moves in, Kinney notes that Easton knows Vada better than she thought he would.

As most people in Xander’s life view him as someone fragile that needs to be taken care of, do you think this new storyline post NLU will be similar to Lo’s arc in addicted, where he would get really frustrated about his vulnerability? I’ve noticed some similarities in NLU to Lo’s story in Addicted.

Xander and easton being good friends outside of their family or cousins kind of reminds me of found family build up in initial days of addicted to you series with connor and ryke getting mixed up in the group. Do you think we will see that sort of found family trope with xander and easton? (Ps : don’t get me wrong i love cousins and everything but this is the kind of found family i love the most) sfo had it but i kinda hope we will see it with one of the core six kids and xander, easton just make sense alongwith ben or maybe jesse in the mix up?

In one of the bonus scene of nlu we see xander confronting lo and having the talk about how he doesn’t want everyone to treat him like hes fragile and that kind of reminds me of lo. I know you guys love your parallel. So will we see something like this with xander( i wish you both would expand on xander=lo similarities). Although they are different but kind of reminds me so much of each other.

Back in Lovers Like Us with the break down the door scene you can see that Xander has come a long way. Was he aware of how much trauma he caused Kinney, did he know about the knife she used to try to break into the door and was there ever a talk between them. This may have been answered before but I can't remember.

Xander doesn’t really have an easy time befriending people due to both his personal anxieties and the consequences of fame. And yet, we saw glimpses of how fast his friendship with Spencer evolved. What would you guys say were the main reasons he he gravitated towards her? Them both being introverts, bc she didn’t care that he was famous, etc.

Xander has severe trust issues as most of his anxiety stems from the idea of having his privacy invaded. And even tho all famous ones usually make people sign an NDA for most matters, as we’ve seen with Beckett, the nda obviously isn’t foolproof. So how much trust would you guys say Xander actually places in the nda people sign for him? Like when he and Spencer talked about losing their virginities to each other, was he confident it wouldn’t be leaked to the public because of the nda or because of his trust in Spencer?

Xander has changed a lot from dlu to nlu and we have seen so many changes and growth in him but when it comes anxiety and fear. Sometimes people pretend to be ok to make others not worry about them (kinda speaking from experience). So my question is that is he actually okay or he is pretending to be okay to not make his family worry about him (he’s known to be struggling with that)

Xander saw alot of fighting between Ben and Charlie while during the presentations and the tour, what were Xanders thoughts on the two siblings fighting and if he had advice for Ben would he offer it now that they will be going to the same college or stick to just being cordial with him?

I really love snarky xander. Are we going to see more of him? He is such a sweet, cool and kind boy but whenever he drops his one liner and dry ironic humour like lo.. it always sounds so good because it’s kinda unexpected from him and it comes naturally as well. Like that one scene in nlu when donnelly said that he can be sweet in one moment and snarky in other. Are we going to see more of that later?
