Weekly Recap

Happiest Friday, magical & heroic beauties! There's been lots of news today about Patreon, and we're so excited about the future. Outside of Patreon, we're back in our writing cave after taking a pause for wedding festivities and catch up work. So we're excited to binge write the remainder of Webs We Weave 3. Binge writing is our favorite kind of writing, and we typically do it when we're hitting a good stride in the book.

Here on Patreon, we're prepping podcasts and finishing up the last bonus of the month before hitting November. A Very Addicted Christmas will be on preorder on Amazon this upcoming Monday, but a reminder that if you're a patron in December, you'll be getting the eBook for free so there's no need to preorder!

We are going as Lady Death and Agatha Harkness!!!!! This question also gives me the chance to just GUSH over Agatha All Along. I love love love this show. It’s everything I’ve been wanting from Marvel for so long. It’s so unapologetically queer, it is for sure going in my regular Halloween rotation. I am living for Wednesday nights & so excited for where this means Marvel could be heading! I swear this show and Deadpool & Wolverine have made more excited for future Marvel content than I have been in years. I’m also living for queer social media on this show right now. Ok, gush done. Hello I just wanted some clarification after your latest announcement about PLU the bonus scenes list we requested in the chat rooms like Ripleys first birthday, Sulli meeting Gloria for the first time and giving birth to Seven, Cassidy birth, Xanders graduation etc. Will we still be getting those scenes sprinkled in between while also getting Frog and Quinn chapters?

We found out that Patreon does save the recording, but it was kinda wonky (they triple saved it?) so it's not really usable. But we're hoping next time, there won't be a glitch or issue and we can post it. Most of the live was just me (Becca) describing why People Like Us doesn't work as well anymore. Like how it covers a specific timeline that's quite confusing to readers, and it'd be better for a compilation of bonuses to be more couple-specific than time specific. A lot if it was what we already posted in the First Look post. And I also was reading Krista's comments to some of the questions, so you can always scroll through the chat and find her responses 😊 If there's anything you're curious about, we're happy to try to answer here, too! xoxo B

LOVEEEE that you love it so much! Krista & I are OBSESSED!! We actually have been watching the show together using the Teleparty app thingy. It's been so much fun. I take back every doubt I had about Agatha. It's 100% one of the best things Marvel has done. I hope it stick the landing!! Agathan & Teen's banter has been epic, but Jen is by far my fav character. I love her SO FREAKING MUCH. Omg that TikTok is amazing!! Total Kinney vibes! I didn't realize until now that Aubrey Plaza really has this Kinney deadpan feel to her. LOVE IT!

It's always possible! That's why we said there might be bonuses sprinkled throughout. We're keeping it more free to be what we feel for the month rather than something super strict. For instance, sometimes during our rereads of certain books in the Like Us series, inspiration sparks and we might return to an older timeline. But after the wedding content, we're more likely going to write from NLU onward for a bit 🩷

pretending lily gave us her grace to be costume buddies, lo and i would be those inflatable dinosaur costume things (i’m not a big marvel person i only watch movies here and there😔) super excited about Frog’s POV and have been manifesting her book since we first met her and always voted on her podcast topic because i definitely feel like i’m going to relate to her 😭 also excited to see Quinn’s POVs with his siblings, especially after Fight Night and what Joana is going to do when she finds out about Nessa

It will start after they finish Jane and Thatchers wedding which should take them to the end of the year. So Frog and Quinn chapters will probably start in the New Year.
