Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! First hangout of 2025 in the books! We are officially embarking on a new year, a new start, and in a lot of ways it feels like a fresh beginning for us. Starting a new series is a big task -- especially one that will consist of 6 books. But we're more than excited to get back into the universe we've been absorbed in for so long with the Cobalt Empire. AND 2025 has one of our favorites releasing in April -- Destructively Mine was undoubtedly the hardest book we've ever written, which means it's one of our proudest. There's so much effort, time, and toil that went into molding this one, so we hope you all enjoy it as much as we cherish it. Speaking of the Webs We Weave series, Dishonestly Yours eBook is on sale this week for $1.99. It's a HUGE sale since this eBook is usually $10.99 and is NOT in KU. Because it's trad pubbed, these sales don't happen often -- so we highly suggest snagging it while it's discounted.

2025 is going to be incredibly epic. It's legitimately only three days in and we're already planning some pretty spectacular things. We hope we can meet a lot of you in the events that we have lined up -- plus we just announced a 2026 event in Minneapolis ✨ Tickets are on sale now for Star of the North Author Event, so grab them before they sell out. I (Krista) have only been to Minneapolis once, but I fell in love with it instantly. Surly Brewing, Young Joni, THE LAKES, Rainforest Cafe (it's so kitschy, it's fun!). Plus, feeling like a main character out of an Abbey Jimenez novel basically made my fangirl dreams come true. So I can't wait for Becca to experience the MN magic and for us to meet and see some of you there!!

Also, BIG THANKS to Becca for holding down the fort while I was honeymooning in Hawaii. It was such a fun, relaxing time and that was in major part because I knew everything was in such great hands with her 🥰

I’m the most excited to read more about Ben in 2025. But I have a question, I know sometimes books can be released early. So is there any way possible, even just a small one, that burn bright could be released earlier?

Here are the Top 5 bonus scenes people voted on from that post in the Fizz Hangout chat room! There are tons of other good ones, but these had the most “❤️”! All of them would make great Special Bonuses if they’re ever brought back! 😉😍 1. Connor/Rose/Jane - all the Cobalts meeting Maeve in the hospital for the first time (if it’s Jane’s POV, you can throw in her birth experience from her eyes!) 2. Thatcher - his feelings about finding out Jane is in labor, talking her through it over the walkie talkie, the journey to meeting up with her, and seeing his daughter for the first time 3. Maximoff - journey of Cassidy’s birth, him realizing he’s holding a piece of Farrow, introducing her to Ripley, the family 4. Ryke - the first chapters of Fearless, finding out about Kitsulletti and the quarry confrontation, talking to Daisy and the rest of the Core 6 about Kitsulletti and his actions/thoughts 5. I am soooo excited for BB 💙🦋 I have been LONGING for Cobalt Empire since I read Lovers so it’s been a long time coming for me!! Finally being in Ben’s head will be a gift, as will having a new POV for the Empire to add to Connor, Rose, and Jane’s!! 🥹🥰 But I’m just as excited for everyone to read DM! It’s positively brilliant and I cannot WAIT to see what everyone thinks of the end result!! Please do the What To Expect in 2025 podcast. Iam excited for Burn Bright . I usually don't get paperback books until after I read the e-book and i have enjoyed it but iam so excited for BB that once you announce Ben's LI, I will pre-order the deluxe print edition. I don't know how long this edition will be available but I hope it lasts until your LI announcement 🤞. I hope you ladies had a great holiday!! Also looking forward to more Finn , I've only read the first chapter and iam saving the rest of the chapters until you get further into the story. It's hard to stop myself from continuing reading but I know I will enjoy it. Just have to avoid spoilers 😅

We actually go pretty in depth about how we started and where we are now in a podcast we did in 2024 called 10 Takeaways About Being An Author! You can listen to that one here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/extra-podcast-10-98892353 🩷 When we recorded it, I don't think we intended it to be a "this is how we got into writing and publishing" but it really ended up being a peek into our overall journey. I'll also add the topic to our "extras" list about maybe focusing a podcast on how we gained attention. I can't remember if we talk in depth about that in particular.

It's very unlikely it'd be released earlier, but this is really up to Bloom. Since trad publishing has stricter dates with printing schedules and other authors/books on their line-up for the year, it's more set in stone and rare that a book's date would change once it's announced

I think we all just want to see how the siblings initially reacted to holding her/meeting her and their excitement especially since we really only saw Donnelly with her and then some slight interaction with others in bonus scenes … plus seeing Connor and Rose with their first grandchild is big! And paired with the labor? It’d be great longer bonus if you ever wanted to write them!! 😉
