January's poll has ended, and the results are in! It was a close race, and the General Q&A pulled through this time. We're super excited to answer a wide variety of your burning questions, and it's a great topic to kick off 2025! You can ask us anything, and we'll try to answer as many as possible on the pod.

YAY! I love General Q&A episodes so much! I have a couple hypothetical situation questions that have been sitting in my notes app that I’m excited to have the opportunity to ask! :) 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝟭. If the Famous Families were offered the chance to compete against one another on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud to raise money for charity, what would their teams look like? Since each team can only have 5 members, which family members would be cut (or potentially sent to a different team that needed more members)? Who would come out victorious? 𝟮. Which of the Famous Ones would wait in a Ticketmaster queue to get tickets to an event that they were interested in? Which would decide to forgo the queueing experience and just purchase resale or use their connections to secure tickets? (I hope this makes sense! I was thinking about this while sitting in the Ticketmaster queue attempting to snag MCR tickets, and it made that experience more bearable for me lol). 𝟯. If the Cobalt siblings were contestants on the Bachelor / Bachelorette, how far do you think each of them would make it (first night boot, hometowns, fantasy suites, etc.)? I’m curious how you think they’d do in that kind of environment! 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝟭. If you were to rank the Cobalt siblings’ handwriting from worst to best, where would each of them fall? 𝟮. What’s Tom’s favorite pizza topping? :) 𝟯. In the “Mostly Likely & Least Likely To of the Famous Ones” podcast it was mentioned that the Cobalt’s chef taught Eliot how to cook. Did Tom pick up any tips or tricks from the chef during the time that he was crushing on him? 𝟰. You’ve mentioned in the past that Tom listens to Fall Out Boy. I can’t help but wonder, when he’s listening to their music, does he skip “The Phoenix” if it comes on shuffle? (I’m forever grateful that there are no songs with my nemesis’ name in the title. So sorry, Tom. 🙂‍↕️) 𝟱. Is The Carraways’ cursed history with drummers public knowledge, or at least something that’s talked about amongst people who work in the industry? Was Alfie aware of the notoriety of the position before he auditioned for the job? 𝟲. I was wondering if Tom “knowing next to nothing” about Alfie before he joined The Carraways is a detail that might be important in the future? Or, is that just a piece of added irony to the iconic drummer plot line? To have Tom search for years for the perfect drummer, just to end up having one assigned to him that he doesn’t know much about? (I know that you can’t spoil anything, so there’s absolutely no pressure to answer this one if it’s too much! *hugs*) I understand if you don’t have time for all of these! Yay, looking forward to this one!! 😇 ----- • What has been the highlight of your 2024, and what are you most looking forward to in 2025? 😇 • I remember when NLU was releasing, you mentioned that there was a Pinterest board you wanted to release but you said that you were waiting until NLU had been out for a little while because it would spoil NLU a bit too much. I could be wrong, but that board never got released, did it (I assumed after reading that it would be Spencer's)? Is that not the plan anymore? Just asking because I love your Pinterest updates (seriously no pressure to release anything, I just don't want to expect something that's not happening anymore) :) 🩷 • Are we getting the rest of the Jane and Thatcher wedding bonuses sometime soon? They're my favourite! • Has your writing process changed at all with Frog & Quinn, seeing as they’re being published chapter by chapter rather than the whole book at once? • Are we going to get an update on Quinn and Jesse’s relationship now that we have Quinn’s POV? Him being mean and dismissive towards Jesse was so sad and I always wondered why he did that • If the Girl Squad, Harriet, Xander, Easton, Ben, and Jesse (aka the younger characters) were individually thrown into the arena from the 74th Hunger Games (so they're not competing against each other, this is just an alternate reality where they're put in the same repeating simulation one after the other), who would be the most likely to win/survive the longest and why? 👀 Or would more than one person be crowned the winner in their respective games? • Is there anything you can tease about DM? • Will DM also get a signed preorder promo like Dishonestly Yours did, or is the regular preorder going to be the only one? Just asking so I can plan out when/where to preorder a physical copy! :) • Who do you think the most underrated character in the Addictedverse is? I've always thought it had to be Banks (😍), but I'm wondering if you have a different answer? • Since the Cobalt Empire series is only going to have one book per character, I can imagine it's going to be vastly different from all the other Addictedverse books you've written so far. What made you decide to do something different like this, particularly for the Cobalts (as opposed to other Famous Ones, for example Lunnelly who have the possibility of getting a 4th book even though the Like Us series is over)? It's so hard to imagine their larger than life POVs (esp Beckett and his LIs since there would be three POVs) and their potential stories (at least the ones hinted at throughout the Like Us series) being contained in one book after all this time. I suppose I've always associated you as the authors who write beyond the get-together-and-live-happily-ever-after stage, and this feels like a big departure from that. Of course Patreon is here for more Cobalt content but I can't imagine that would follow the same type of story arcs/structure as your books do since it's a different format, plus of course there are only going to be so many months in between releases before moving onto other things. I mean this all in the nicest possible way because I'm still excited for Burn Bright, and super proud of you about the Bloom book deal! 💙👏🏼 It's clear that you work so hard, and your books definitely should reach the bookshelves of more people. 🩷 This question more so just comes from burning curiosity (which is my fatal flaw, I fear 🙈) about your POV of big decisions like this as the authors of this universe 🥰🩷 • Are the LIs for Ben, Tom, Eliot, and Audrey going to be unconfirmed/mysteries leading up to their books? It doesn't really bother me, but I have seen what some fandoms have occasionally devolved into on social media when the ship wars were left alone too long and it is brutal out there 🥲😶 • Since Audrey is definitely part of CE, does that mean there won't be a "Girl Squad" series? • Do you think there's a possibility that you'll reveal the main character for the successive books in CE at the back of the previous book, like you did with Ben in NLU? I loved that experience a lot! Testing my self-control was fun, and it was a nice little something to look forward to to cure my sadness of NLU ending 😇

So excited for this one!!🩷🩷 1). How important is music in Tom’s romantic relationships? Since music is one of Tom’s great passions, is that something he would want his partner to share? And how would he deal if his partner has different taste in music than him and loves music that Tom can’t stand ? 😆 2). There’s a conversation between Donnelly and Tom in Nobody Like Us where they are bonding over their taste in music and I was wondering where do their taste overlap and where do they diverge? Also, what female musicians (or female fronted bands) do they like? :) 3). I was wondering if Donnelly and Tom ever reminisce over the time Donnelly was Tom’s bodyguard? Especially now that they’re spending a little more time together how does this impact their relationship? 4). I know the answer to the first one! Yes, Audrey’s in CE! She’ll be one of the six books for the six remaining Cobalt siblings! And the last one… as of right now, there is a set six book contract with Bloom so just one book per Cobalt… But we do have Patreon that will give us soooo much more information and bonus scenes after the book releases so there will be more in the CE world for sure beyond the six books

How did you come up with the names of the core eight’s kids? Obviously we know Sulli was named after Sully, Xander was named by Ryke etc, but how were you able to draw inspiration having to name so many children?

I was wondering what you had to do to mentally shift between books and/or bonus scenes… I know Becca left DO for a bit to jump back into BB, so does it take a minute for the switch? Do you reread what was most recently written? Listen to music? Look at notes? And if inspiration strikes for DO for example, when in the middle of a chapter for BB, will you go back to DO for a bit or just write it down for later? Like I know you’re focused on what you’re writing but you can’t always stop when a character speaks to you so I’m curious

Hi, you are currently writing Finns story and Burn Bright. Both characters Quinn and Ben are more known as the golden retrievers of the addictedverse. Is it easier to go back and forth between those two POVs , is it the same as any other POV or a little harder . What would you say are the major differences between them and some similarities between them.

Going into BB, what is the public’s perception of each brother, regardless of if it’s accurate? Ex. like Beckett is seen as a Heartbreaker, Eliot was called a rake in NLU.

Since we’re moving forward in the timeline and moving away from certain POVs in bonus content, can you briefly tell us what were Cobolloway’s thoughts and opinions on their children participating in the fizzle race? Did they also think Charlie was likely going to win? Did they hope certain ones wouldn’t? Etc? I understand if you think this would be better written out, but is that even a possibility with the shift in bonus content?

How often do you guys talk when you’re writing now that you live apart? Do you call or text when an idea pops up that you love and are going to write or do you leave it for the other to just read when it’s their turn to have the book/bonus? How often do you surprise the other with a storyline or plot point you came up with, or is that always talked about beforehand?

Does Eliot like Oscar Wilde? (I am currently reading 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and the humour reminds me SO much of him) and maybe as an inspiration for an extra like the cellphone snooping, I would LOVE a reading list of all the like us/addicted characters, especially the Cobalts. As I am actually not a big romance reader (except yours oc) the random mentions of other literature and learning what these characters like to read themselves is one of my absolute fav things about your books❤ (lots of love to you for creating characters that I have to think of even when I am reading other books)

Theyre' s still the book Dangerously ours with the Trad restrictions of 4 months before and 4 months after. So unless they publish it at the end of 2025. It would be tight to squeeze in another book. I could be wrong though and they figured out a way 🤞

In the guys lunch bonus, Connor said “if any of my sons would’ve had feelings for Vada, it would’ve been Eliot, and to put it in terms you’ll understand, that ship has figuratively sunk a while ago.” Can you tell us why Connor thought it would’ve been Eliot, and why the ship had sailed on that?

Do they drive or fly to the lake house? Seems like quite a road trip if they only drive, but I imagine flights can be traced. Does Samantha go to the lake house or does she spend holidays alone?

In regards to Phoenix’s age, we know that he has to 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 be around the same age as Tom (21) because he auditioned for The Carraways in Sinful Like Us (🥁), and we know that Tom’s label wasn’t interested in having minors in the band. So, Phoenix would’ve had to have been at least 18 when he auditioned in SLU (2038), and it’s been around 3 years since then (assuming that BB begins around the same time that NLU ends — 2041) which would put Phoenix at around 21 if he was 18 when he auditioned (or 20, if his birthday is between June + December). But it’s also possible that he’s older than that & was older than 18 when he auditioned! :) 🐦‍🔥🥁

For example, the bond between Tom and Kinney really stands out to me 🫶. What’s the biggest struggle with writing 2 books at the same time? (technically three since you have DO too…) What’s the key to focusing on what you’re specifically working on? Have you ever been scared to run out of ideas for books or not getting one done? You told us about changing a lot of books drastically before (DM for example) but has there ever been a real fear just not finding the right tone at all or is it more of an 'okay we just need more time thing'? I always have so much admiration in me for people with creative careers. It takes so much bravery to really rely on your own talents like that and you spoil us with SO much content.

See… my initial thought about Samantha at the lake house was “gross” and it still is, but the way you said “or does she spend holidays alone” made me sad for her. Until of course I remembered who she is and what shes done, now the only potentially sad part is how her daughters may feel guilty about letting her be alone but… she deserves it. I feel like if it was her that died and greg was alive he might have been invited to the lake house, but I hope samantha doesn’t even know where it is.

I’m curious too, did he see something deeper or is it just because Eliot is Eliot and loves drama and theater and putting on a show so he would be the most likely to be interested in her because it would be exciting? I can’t think of why else… but I think we’ve also barely scratched the surface of those two characters anyways so it’s hard to see what Connor may have seen.

I’m guessing Easton doesn’t like Ben out of loyalty to Xander in that feud. Plus Ben is the one who showed Moffy and Charlie the texts about the pills that led to them showing up at Eastons door. Also he went to dalton so he may be aware of ben getting pills for the t-bags (or maybe just one of them, can’t remember) and maybe he hates the hypocrisy of cutting of Xander for giving Easton pills cause it’s morally wrong (when Easton needed them) just for Ben to turn around and supply drugs to a guy who doesn’t need them and is just going to abuse them.
