Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! We're doing something a little different today. Our newsletter that's gone out today has a really fun "rank" and we want to share it with you all here in case you don't subscribe. (BUT we highly recommend subscribing because it's a great resource and we sometimes share pics of us outside of our writing cave!)

So today we're going to rank our male main characters on their morally grayness. How much do they lie and bend the rules? Well...we're getting into it here today! (Disclaimer: this is a biased list because we are biased as the creators and it's totally okay if you have a different rank. In fact, let us know if you agree or disagree with our rank in the comments!)

From least morally gray to most...

THE YOU DEFINITELY ARE NOT EVEN A LITTLE GRAY CHARACTERS: 

15. Jack Highland - coming in last place is the a pure sunshine soul. He's not going to lie or cheat or steal. Book: Charming Like Us. 

14. Thatcher Moretti - nicknamed the "hall monitor" among the security force for abiding and enforcing the rules. He's a bodyguard that doesn't like to break them, but he will for a certain girl he loves. Books: Tangled Like Us, Sinful Like Us

13. Maximoff Hale - son of Loren Hale, CEO of a philanthropy company. He has a strict moral code and tries to constantly do what's right. He's practically the opposite of morally gray! Books: Damaged Like Us, Lovers Like Us, Alphas Like Us, Headstrong Like Us

12. Oscar Oliveira - he might love watching drama unfold, but he does not like being a participant in it. He tries to avoid ruffling feathers as much as he can and that means playing by the rules. Book: Charming Like Us

11. Ryke Meadows - while he has a pretty crass vocabulary, he has a defined moral code that he tries to stand by. He wants to do what's right, and his ultimate goal has been to help his brother. We'd put him with the bottom group. Books: Hothouse Flower, Long Way Down

10. Akara Kitsuwon - owner of the security force team that protects the famous families. He's willing to "slightly" bend the rules but he's still a boss. For the most part, we wouldn't consider him a morally gray character. Books: Wild Like Us, Fearless Like Us, Infamous Like Us

9. Banks Moretti - while his twin brother Thatcher might be considered the hall monitor, Banks is more of a free spirit. But it's all in good-natured fun. We wouldn't consider him a morally gray character. Books: Wild Like Us, Fearless Like Us, Infamous Like Us

THE YOU MAY HAVE A BIT OF GRAY IN YOU CHARACTERS: 

8. Nikolai Kotova - this acrobat has some interesting late night hobbies that include piercing and tattooing clubgoers after they fail a handstand contest. He's going to follow company rules, but outside of work...anything is fair game.  Book: The Failed Audition

7. Luka Kotova - stealing isn't something he's proud of (and he's working on it!) But rules are there to be broken. He is a certified R.E.B.E.L. of his family. Truly, fuck Corporate. Book: The Secret Ex-Boyfriend

6. Garrison Abbey - vandalism has stained his reputation, and he's trying to make amends in his own way. He's not a bad guy, deep down, but there's some shadows living in his soul. Books: Whatever It Takes, Wherever You Are

5. Farrow Keene - he's known as the "maverick" on the security team. He paves his own path and defines his own rules. We wouldn't consider him completely morally gray, but there are times the line just...fades away. Books: Damaged Like Us, Lovers Like Us, Alphas Like Us, Headstrong Like Us

4. Paul Donnelly - soooo here's the thing, this former tattooist and current bodyguard never really "learned" about morals. So he can be given some slack. Anyway, his new best friend (self-proclaimed) is Loren Hale so you know he'll have lots of great guidance in that department ;) Books: Misfits Like Us, Unlucky Like Us, Nobody Like Us

THE YOU ARE MORALLY GRAY CHARACTERS, NO DOUBT

3. Loren Hale - he's a cinnamon roll, we promise! But this heir to a billion dollar fortune wasn't raised by the best man, and it's shaded his morals completely. He's been through a lot. He's done some bad things, and he will hold nothing back if you mess with Lily Martha Calloway. Books: Addicted Series

2. Connor Cobalt - what are morals? Books: Kiss the Sky, Fuel the Fire

1. Brayden "Rocky" Tinrock - he's a professional con artist. He's swindled many corrupt billionaires out of their fortunes, and he will continue to do so. It's what he loves. They don't call him the silver tongue for nothing ;) Books: Dishonestly Yours, Destructively Mine
