🩷 Krista: Mickey 17 - Rating 5/10Marked Men: Rule + Shaw - Rating 8/10

💛 Becca: The Florida Project - Rating 10/10: I'd wanted to watch this one for the longest time, and one late night after writing, I decided to decompress and put it on. Such an amazing film. It reminded me why Krista & I love indie movies so damn much. Marked Men: Rule + Shaw - Rating 8/10: This is the film adaptation of Jay Crownover's Rule! We love seeing more early 2010s romances coming to life on the big screen! The directing for this film was phenomenal. It was a bit gritty and didn't have the usual Hallmark sheen. We totally dug it, and we wished it were an actual TV series. Also the cast was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Alien: Romulus - Rating 7/10: I finally got around to watching this one after Krista raved over it last year, and I really enjoyed the storyline! I didn't know where it was going to go, but I have to say...Ridley Scott definitely has a thing for the Romulus and Remus story because the whole setting really reminded me of Raised by Wolves (a short-lived but amazing TV series he created). They weren't copy-paste similar, but he definitely loves that story! But I'm here for it -- I would likely watch anything he made.

🩷 Krista: The Pitt

💛 Becca: The Pitt, Survivor, Deal or No Deal Island (Season 2), The Amazing Race

The Pitt just ended, and it's by far one of the best seasons of television we've seen in a long time. Highly recommend! Most especially if you already love ER from back in the day. Survivor and The Amazing Race have also been great watches this season! If you haven't tuned into the newest seasons yet, they're really addicting and have rootable casts.

Also, DONDI was a stand-out this year! I didn't watch the first season, but I jumped into the second season because Krista & I love David from Australian Survivor and he was cast, along with one of our fav Big Brother players -- Dr. Will! Every player this season was wildly entertaining, and the challenges were also surprisingly engaging and super fun. If you already love Survivor and Big Brother, you'll likely enjoy this show too.
