🩷 Krista: Captain America: Brave New World (2025) - Rating: 5/10Thunderbolts (2025) - Rating: 10/10Final Destination: Bloodline (2025) - Rating: 9/10

💛 Becca: Until Dawn - Rating 9/10: Krista & I played this video game wayyyy back when, and so I was very excited to watch the movie. Even though the movie doesn't really follow the same characters and storyline, I thought it was very unpredictable, and I found myself really rooting for many of the characters to make it out alive!Gattaca - Rating 10/10: Finally got around to watching this gem! Our YA publisher (Wednesday Books) promoted The Raging Ones as "Gattaca" back in the day, and I'd never seen the movie (Krista had!) so I've always wanted to watch it. And I loved this way more than I even expected. I thought the whole film was going to take place in space, and I loved how it was more about getting on the space mission. Which, yes, totally reminded me of The Raging Ones hehe 🤓

Heretic - Rating 9/10: Another really fantastic horror movie! Krista had watched and enjoyed this one and recommended it, so I finally got around to watching it too. I really had no idea where it was going, and I love horror movies that keep me on my toes. It also had another set of rootable characters!

🩷 Krista: The Last of Us (Season 2), The Studio

💛 Becca: Étoile, The Last Anniversary, Overcompensating

RIP to Étoile. Krista and I both loved this show on Amazon Prime. We are ballet junkies (not dancers ourselves, but just love learning more about the ballet world), and we also adore the quick-wit of Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls, Bunheads). We binged the first season before the season two cancellation decision was made. Overall, it's still worth watching for those who love ballet and Sherman-Palladino's previous shows.

The Last Anniversary is such a great binge! It's based on the novel from Liane Moriarty of the same name, and if you love mysteries combined with generational sagas following women in a family, then this one is for you. It's also on Amazon Prime.

Another one on Prime is Overcompensating. This is the only one I haven't finished yet, but I was really enjoying it. It reminded me a lot of The Sex Lives of College Girls since it's also set in college and a comedy that focuses on the awkwardness of being in college for the first time and meeting new people and figuring out who you are and who you want to be. Both are really enjoyable if you're into this type of comedy.

We both tried to spend some much-needed time with our significant others since they've been so patient on our longest streak of no breaks this past year. Now it's back to the cave for us! Last final push to finish our second book of 2025 💪
