Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Addictedverse, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

What is your guess for the title of Book 2 in the Cobalt Empire series?

 Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties! We are deep in our writing cave trying to finish the edits on Dangerously Ours. As such, we will be on a MAJOR social media hiatus for the next seven days. That means we are going to try to ban ourselves the best we can from posting/stories on social media (okay, it might be a light ban because my restraint isn't as good as Krista's 👀 we shall see!). We will be, of course, still be doing podcasts and we have another Frog/Quinn chapter for you soon! But besides that -- we are in our cave! (This is us telling ourselves more than telling you LOL 😂).

We have even banned ourselves from seeing the Fantastic Four movie until this deadline is done, so you know this is serious.

We shall be back for our scheduled content here on Patreon, but besides that we hope you all have a fabulous seven days ahead of you 🩷

One more thing! We've also seen the Cobalt Appreciation weeks going on via Instagram @fizzleheadquarters, and we want to thank everyone who's participating!! Thank you so much to Shi for creating something so awesome and special and thank you to all those a part of it! It means so much to see so much excitement for this fam and characters and Burn Bright. Brings tears to our eyes, and we just can't wait for this book to be in your hands soon.

This week on Patreon, we had some fun posts. So in case you missed it, here's what went down:

Guessing the title for book 2 feels impossible because right now we don’t know how the naming convention works 👀 But that’s something I’ve been curious about for foreverrr! Shi is the best! So glad every Cobalt is getting the appreciation week that they deserve 🩷 Good luck with all the writing things!! 🫶🏼

Bea (never.stopreading)

I’m not great at guessing but I already know the next title will be as epic as Burn bright! And good luck with your busy work week!! 🍀💜

Donnae🤍

In regards to guessing CE’s book name, I just realized that we’re getting burn bright in September and it’s about Ben, who’s name starts with a B. So I’m guessing Charlie’s book will be some concoction of CC, Beckett’s will be BB as well, Eliot’s will be EE, Tom’s will be TT and Audrey’s will be AA Idk though just a thought 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

claireeeee

Unless they have released it, I think it is about Tom! And i would guess its a play off his band name

Dasha

same! i also have a feeling that the next book is about Tom and perhaps the title is connected to music/tunes

Sonso

I’m not good at this, but I love when The titles are connected through the series so… BURN the chords (Tom) BURN the floor ( Beckett) BURN the distance (Charlie) BURN the spotlight (Eliot) and BURN love (Audrey) 💙🩵💙

claireeeee

Whats your predicted release order? Mine is: Ben Tom Beckett Audrey Charlie Eliot

Angelina (Charlies version) ♟️

ahhhhhhh so happy you're loving Shi's brilliant idea of appreciation weeks 🥰 I'm horrible at guessing so I'm not even going to try 🤣 LAST STRETCH WOOP WOOP SOOOO EXCITED FOR DO!!!! The WiP snippits are killing me!!!

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Best idea Shi 🤎🫂💙 Cobalts deserve allllll the love so we finish Jane and start Charlie Monday!! So the question - I’ve always wondered if they’ll be connected to fire/water cause of how Rose and Connor are described and then we have Fuel the FIRE and BURN Bright… you can even throw in elements like Kiss the SKY? So maybe the next one has flame/s or torch/es or Ember/s or rapid/s or mountain/s It could also be that the first letter of their name corresponds to a word in the title, like Ben and Burn! I wonder it they’ll all be two word titles? 🤔 “burn bright” was also in NLU so now I need my detective hat for a reread to see if I can spot the title for book two in BB 🕵️‍♀️🔍👀 Happy writing ladies!! We’ll miss you while you’re in your cave!! I can’t wait to see what happens with DO and I just know you’ll meet your deadline! Don’t forget to take a few moments each day for you!! Sending you all the hugs and love and good vibes and juju 💕✨🫶🏻

AJ

I think I’d need more information before I could even think where to start guessing 🤔 like who’s book is next or if there’s going to be a title theme 💙

Abby (Eliot’s version)

I haven’t heard that order before! Why do you think Eliot would be last and Audrey between Beckett and Charlie? I’m curious like Jane lol

Arrow

I’m loving all of the Cobalt appreciation posts!!! And I have no idea what the tile might be. Maybe Burn Fierce! Or Terrific Tom. LOL

Abby (Eliot’s version)

The only problem is Beckett if it’s only two words… cause none of their books have the same initials for us to shorten so it could be that “the/a/an/from” is in the middle of the words for a different set of letters to differentiate

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Do we think the title will be in the back of the ebook when it’s released on Sept 2 🤔 Cause they know the publication date already so to have a preorder for it with a link would be awesome! Kinda like how we got Ben and BB at the end of NLU!

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Love that you think it’s Tom!! And he’d be on board with being called “terrific” lol

shi luvs st.cobalt

While this week’s hangout question is a little evil of you (🙂‍↕️), I appreciate having something to ponder. I love a good puzzle! :) 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: - I’ll come back and update this with mine once I form some! I’m sending you both all of the good vibes as you enter your social media hiatus! I hope the writing cave has been treating you well! *sending hugs*! I’m **so glad** that Janie’s week has been going well! Seeing others participate, and have fun with everything, has me over the moon! Everyone’s been so kind as well! It’s been a great way to meet new people + make new friends! :’) I wouldn’t have been able to do it alone, though. Cass, Abby, Angelina, Cait, and Sara have helped me 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 — I can’t thank them enough (🤎)! I also appreciate you mentioning the appreciation weeks! :’) Thank 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for creating these characters + these worlds that we love so much! You’re the reason that this all exists (🥹🤎)! I’m just so grateful for all of the things. :’) ~~ *sending everyone all of the hugs + love!* 🤎🤎🤎

shi luvs st.cobalt

I adore you! Thank you for being so supportive of everything! I appreciate you so so much, friend. :’) 🤎🤎

millie (coballoway's version)

I've been thinking about possible titles so much lately, but I really only have ideas for the links between the titles like either 'burn' or 'bright' being repeated. I've also been thinking along the same kind of lines as Abby tho, but instead of fire I think the titles could be star related bc when Luna is talking about Tom and Eliot in nlu she says "it's the way of the stars: burn too bright and a supernova will explode" and also in the bora bora honeymoon chapter Connor says "we're the brightest, strongest stars in the sky, the ones that will burn for generations until a black hole destroys the galaxy". with that and Coballoway being known as 'nerd stars' I think it could be a cool way to link everything together but I really like the 'fire' idea too 💙 also, the appreciation weeks are such a fun idea I love it!! Jane week has been amazing and I'm so excited for Charlie's already 🩶

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Ooh stars!!! I didn’t even think about that! I do wonder it they’ll be connected with a theme or a word or just separate entirely!! I love that they already know it 🥹💙 Here’s hoping they let us know soon so I can freak out even more over knowing book 2 is coming next year!!

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Best idea Shi 🤎🫂 Love being here with you to show our love for the Cobalts 💙

millie (coballoway's version)

yeah, I'm hoping the title will be in the back of the BB ebook like u said. and once we know it we'll probably have a better idea of the format and themes of the rest of the titles so it'll make guessing them easier! I'm already losing my mind thinking about getting book 2 and maybe even 3 next year and BB isn't even out yet 😭

Abby (Eliot’s version)

Imagine getting a summer and winter release plus DO at the beginning of the year 🥹 but I’ll just be happy to get book 2!! I can’t wait to see if we’re going to have a different shade of blue for the cover or an entirely new color and if the theme of another animal will continue or what!!

millie (coballoway's version)

that would be amazinggg!! ik I'm getting way ahead of myself since I haven't even read book 1 but I'm just sooo excited!!! and yesss I'm so curious about the covers I'm hoping they're all shades of blue but we shall see!
