Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish! The question this week is...

If you've read Misfits Like Us, who are your top three favorite characters from the book?

If you haven't read it yet, where are you in the Like Us series and who are your current top 3 fav characters? 💕

WEEKLY RECAP

Happy Friday, magical & super heroic beauties!! It's been 1 week since Misfits Like Us released, and we are still over-the-moon about all the love for this book and for Luna & Donnelly 🥰 Thankyouthankyou to everyone who has picked this cosmic baby up! We're still dreaming of all the bonus scenes we want to write with Luna & Donnelly, so more will definitely be in the works! Speaking of bonus scenes, we dropped two brand new ones from the Misfits Like Us timeline. So when you're done with the book, definitely check those out! Here's everything that went down this week on Patreon:

- Main Bonus Scene: Fiction Feedback

- Extra Bonus Scene: A Mood at the Independent

- Monthly Podcast: Catch-Up Discussion - The Troublemakers (Tom & Eliot + Luna) from Sinful to Misfits

- Suggestion Box: Suggestions for the August Monthly Podcast (still open, poll is coming the first of August)

- Announcement: Signed Store Restock!

MORE NEWS

💚🎉 NEW RELEASE: Misfits Like Us is Now Available in ebook & paperback!

For audiobook listeners, we're estimating about a 3-4 month wait  for the audio (October/November). It still needs to go into production with Audible, but we're hoping that'll be soon!

💚 NEW EDITIONS: The Calloway Sisters Simon & Schuster Australia Editions are now available! Australian/New Zealand Readers can find them here. Everyone else can purchase them on The Book Depository.

💚 Signed Book Store Restock: if you weren't able to get the books you were hoping for in this recent restock, we'll be doing another restock next month, so the wait won't be too long. For more info about the signed store, we have an FAQ page

💚 In case you missed this news, there will be brand new covers for the Like Us series 🎉 These will be illustrated covers. They'll replace the ebooks, and the print editions (paperback & hardcover) will be special editions that include one Patreon bonus scene in the back of each. We're still estimating that they'll be completed this year. They're being designed by the amazingly talented Haley Secen ✨

The original Like Us series paperbacks with the faces will still be available online, and for the rest of the Like Us series, you'll have a choice between the face cover or the illustrated cover for print. This way you can complete your collection if you already have the face covers

💚November 4th-6th, we'll be attending Shameless Book Con 2022 in Orlando, Florida

daisymc✨

hi guys! i’m looking to get a calloway sisters tattoo, has anyone got any / recommendations of what to get or designs

Andrea

My girlies, Luna, Frog, and Jo 🖤

Haley Secen

How can you make me pick?? Excluding Luna and Donnelly because it’s their book, I loved getting more Frog in this one, Jo, and Xander!

Lauren G

Not possible, but… 1. Donnelly 2. Luna 3. Xander, Eliot, Tom, Frog 😁

Rachael

You could get their namesake flowers 💐

Hailey

1. Donnelly (my personal fav since the beginning I’m so happy we finally got his book but everything he’s been through breaks my heart) 2. Farrow (how he protects Donnelly warms my heart) 3. Frog (I really hope she gets a book with Quinn I love her)

Arianna

My number one is Xander then Lo and Donnelly 💚

daisymc✨

thank you guys! i did think this but also with quotes but i’m not too sure yet of what to do or where to look! xxx

Cait

excluding lunnelly, it’d be Farrow, Xander & Frog.

Emely

SFO favorites: farrow, Donnelly, and Oscar (the hale boys ♥️) Like us series: Luna, Moffy, Janie ( I chose from the ones that have books so far :) )

Kayla Figueroa

Top 3 are Charlie, Beckett, and Xander!!

Meagan

Donnelly and Luna of course! But I really did fall in love with Frog in this book. She is for sure a favorite background character. Also, I feel like Farrow was a VIP in this book. He wasn’t in it much but I did enjoy all of his scenes in Misfits. I picked 4 oh well 🤣

Nicole

This is hard....I think besides Luna and Donnelly I'm going with the rookies

Zeynep

top 3 definitely charlie, lunnelly and joana right now. she was so funny this book lmao, and charlie was just shining as his usual self and his latest suspicious disappearances 👀

Rose

Luna, Donnelly and Frog 💚

A spector

Any chance there are Pinterest boards for Millie Kay, Gabe, Harriet, and Winnifred? I’d love to see if what I have pictured matches up. Love the new characters and what their future roles might look like.

bailey richard

i got fairy wings on my wrist for lily!!

bailey richard

frog, donnelly, and I loved Quinn in this book!!

thea

I’VE READ MISFITS AND I LOVE IT SM! BRINGS ME SM JOY!!! i loved seeing more frog, joana, and beckett content!

rs

absolute favourite is and always has been charlie. after that probably audrey and beckett!!

rs

i also had a question about a (throwaway?) line in headstrong like us. what exactly did charlie mean when he says “it’s not like anyone listens to me. have you seen audrey lately? she’s a mess”.

Lindsay Hunter

Luna 💚👽 Donnelly 💜🦂 Frog 🖤🐸

rs

what about a sun?? it does kind of only symbolize daisy but i think it’s cool because even though it’s a little more basic it’s versatile and could symbolize other things as well. i love the flowers and fairy wings ideas too!!

Zoe Nepolello

Guys. I loved this book. So much. Luna and Donnelly are now my favorite couple, I’m completely obsessed. But aside from them, I looooved Charlie, Xander, and Maximoff (because I always love Moffy).

sinagaraw

i've read MLU. So Lunelly became my second favorite couple for Like Us Series. If i'll choose 3 its gonna be LUNA, DONNELLY & LO. Wait i really need to include my love Charlie too. hahaha

kylie

my top three in MLU are eliot, eliot, and eliot!!

Carrie

Top 3 are Luna, Donnelly and Tom/Eliot (because they come as a package deal right??!!!!!)

Anastassia Archibald

Top 3 are: Luna, Donnelly and Frog!!! Honorable mention to the three Yale Boys! And honorable honorable mention to Lo, Eliot, and Joanna hahahaha

Kaitlyn Pasi

Luna, Donnelly, and Eliot!!!

🩰

My top favorite in this book besides Luna and Donnelly are definitely Eliot, lo and jo

Yasti

I’ve had this question for ages, too!

Hannah Williams

I'm not sure if you guys have talked about this or even noticed but I wanted to ask about Tom's name. In the book, it says that Tom is named after Nick caraway from gatsby and his first name is from I believe the adventures of Tom Sawyer... but why did you guys chose to pair those names when in the great gatsby, Tom Buchanan is essentially one of the main villains? Was this an accident? Or a way of being paradoxical? It has been bugging me ever since I read TGG and I need to know!!

Teresa

Joanna, Donnelly and surprisingly Loren. I have so many questions I'll have to write them down before I forget them all before the All about Misfits podcast. I did have some questions thought for you ladies. As far as announcing who the will get books next and revealing more couples who are canon do we have to wait for all 3 Lunnelly books to come out before we get one of those answered. Next question when are you going to start releasing People like us I know it's "chapter by chapter" so that means it doesn't need to be finished by you ladies when you start releasing.

madzz

I am keeping Lunelly out of this. It's their book. 1) Lo. I think Lonnelly/Doren is gonna be a very big arc, very satisfying arc. Even though Lo ends up being against every couple. He is really trying with Donnelly. Donnelly is gonna see his bashful side for sure. Also in future books can we have one couple that he ships from day 1? I would be shocked😂😂 2) Farrow. His love, support for Donnelly and Lunelly is just❤️. 3) Jo. The one scene she was in. She killed it. She made Oscar squirm😂😂. She drove Lunelly towards each other. What else could she have done?😂😂 Special mention Frog and Elliot. Frog faked a period, Elliot did the dance. ❤️

Kristin

Any news on who the MLU narrators might be?

gabi

Top 3 is really hard to narrow down! But, in no particular order - Donnelly, Lo and Luna. Honorary special mentions to Eliot, Tom and Frog.

gabi

and Farrow! He had so many great moments

daisymc✨

thank you for all the suggestions !! think i might get their name sake flowers !!!

shosh

hey kbr!! i’m an aussie who just had the most amazing day buying all the calloway sisters books!! 🥳🥳 just wondering if you guys have any plans to bring the addicted series down here too? i need lilo on my shelves!!!!! 💕

Jess

Donnelly, Luna, and Lo

daisymc✨

got my tattoo guys and i love it !!

Lauren Gibbs

It's Luna, Donnelly, and Farrow for me! 💕 Farrow silently protesting at the birthday bash was just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻😍

rs

omg yay!! so u ended up getting the flowers?

daisymc✨

i did i really wish i was able to post pictures here but i cant 😭

Sarah

Without choosing Lunnelly, it’s Eliot, Frog, and Farrow. His texts crack me up. Honestly made me want to write fan fiction. If I did that I’d somehow put MK and Gabe together. Which is random I know but it would keep her in the loop.

Sarah

I have a question, does Joanna pay rent?

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Our hearts!! 🥰🥰 knowing you want a Calloway Sisters tattoo (and got one!!) made our day!! So happy & grateful you love them 🥹🥰 Did you end up going with flowers? 😍

daisymc✨

i did !!! i sent you guys a pic on instagram dms but i know you probably get so many !!

Krista & Becca Ritchie

We’re still working on them! So hopefully sometime soon-ish we’ll be able to reveal them. We don’t have a fan cast for Gabe though, so if anyone has any suggestions, we’d love to hear them! ☺️💕

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Right now, we’re thinking of holding off on confirming anything else until we’re at least closer to the end of Lunnelly’s trilogy of books 💗 And People Like Us won’t be completed when we start releasing it “episodically” which is one reason why we wanted to do it on Patreon and not just publish it outright as a novella. We’re still figuring out timeframes right now of everything with PLU since we have a lot of bonus content planned these next two months already 💕💕

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Ahh thank you so much for getting the Calloway Sisters in Australia 🥹🥳💕there aren’t plans at the moment for the Addicted books but perhaps if these do well, more doors might open for that possibility ☺️✨

Krista & Becca Ritchie

No, she doesn’t (she’s getting a very good deal, which Donnelly mentions in MLU) 💗 The studio is technically paid by Kitsuwon Securities and still used by Oscar when he needs to be there

Sarah

That is a good deal. Especially considering that O’Malley is down. Jo is a boxer and lives near Beckett. Very interesting.

Krista & Becca Ritchie

If/when Charlie offers advice to Audrey, he feels as though she doesn't take it and she'd be less of a mess if she did ☺️

Krista & Becca Ritchie

This is all in Chapter 19 of Some Kind of Perfect (as you prob already know ☺️ but in case anyone else is reading this and wants to read the chapter, that's the one 😉) and Rose picks out the first names of their kids. Connor picks out the middle names. But for this one, she's letting "fate" guide her in a way by randomly letting little Jane pick out Tom's name from a list. And once Jane picks out "Tom," then Connor immediately names him "Tom Carraway" (after "Nick Carraway" from The Great Gatsby). Would Connor know about Tom Buchanan from TGG? 100%. And Connor has always loved the fact that Rose is a self-contradiction/paradox at times, and this would definitely be something he'd be amused by within their son's name too 💗

Sarah

Could you possibly let us know which book or time period each chapter would fit in. For ex: MLU POV: Jane coinciding with chapter 4? That might be a little much though.

Sarah

🤞🏻 Jessica Almasy or Elizabeth Evans

Julie

Love everyone, just depends on who's head i have been in last. Luna's headspace is really dark, she is so down on herself, I think if I was in a bad place personally I would have trouble reading her perspective. Kind of like the first of the addicted books.
