Greetings, beautiful patrons! We're coming to you mid-August with a post so you can share any questions about Misfits Like Us and Luna & Donnelly that you may have for the Extra Podcast! Initially we weren't going to take any questions for this podcast due to time constraints, but we realized some of you might've been preparing for this one, so we want you to be able to ask questions if you have any 💜💚

Since we are more pressed for time, we sadly won't be able to answer every single question that's asked.

We're going to leave this open to all of you to ask questions for around 24-ish hours. But this is also just a good general way for us to gauge which parts of the book you'd like us to discuss more and what kind of questions you want answered during the in-depth podcast that we'll be recording soon. You know I just love hearing about alll the parallels between the Addicted/Calloway sisters series and the Like Us series (I spotted a few) and what were the most fun scenes and hardest (emotionally) scenes to write

-When Donnelly was in the car with Xander on their way to his school they were talking about cigarettes and Xander asked him why he smokes even when Donnelly knows that it’s bad for his health. Donnelly says in his thoughts, “I like it. It’s better than what I used to do.” What does this mean exactly?! Is he referring to the drugs his parents used to make him do? Will we get more insight into this in Unlucky? -Going into MLU i thought Lunnelly would be a combination of raisy and lilo but more raisy, however now having read the book i realize that they are more like Lilo 2.0 which i love. I noticed so many similarities between them. Would you say the same? -What does the ending mean in terms of what Luna and Donnelly’s relationship status is? To me it sounded like they were on a break since Lo told Donnelly to “wait for her.” Will Unlucky Like Us begin with Lunnelly starting on a break or will they still be together but just in secret? -Why is Donnelly’s favorite year 1989? Is it the specific music or fashion during that era that makes him love it so much? -Will we learn about how Donnelly came to be as a tattoo artist in the next two books? I’ve always been curious about this and how he first became a tattoo apprentice.

Donnelly mentioned a lot of Uncles but in headstrong it was said that he only had one uncle and that was Scottie. Does this mean that the uncles are his grandfathers brothers? 2. Are all the Donnellys bad people?

What made you decide to have the first book be the confrontation with both Loren and Beckett? I still feel like there are things that need to be said between Beckett and Donnelly especially is that true or are they completely good now?

1. Why was Charlie in a rush to leave Luna? Where was he going? 2. Can you tell us about what Charlie wants Jack to film? (Oscar mentioned something about a travel project) 3. Was Jesse disappointed that Winona couldn’t make it to the party? Have they hung out before? I love these two. 4. Is the girl on Jesse’s Pinterest board supposed to be Winona? 5. Will we eventually see how Winona and Ben’s relationship will change? Or Ben’s/Winona’s thoughts on it? It’s kind of sad. 6. Did Lo really not realize that the mark on Donnelly was a cigarette burn? 7. Who put in the least effort for their costume on Lo’s birthday, and who put in the most? 8. How does the family celebrate Ryke, Charlie, and Beckett’s birthdays? I’m assuming they have a joint birthday party/get-together but how does it work exactly? 9. Will we learn more details about Donnelly’s childhood in future books than we learned in misfits? There were some lines that got me really curious, like “I see myself being slipped a hundred. It’s dark.” 10. Jo is a queen, she’s so funny 😭 But Eliot and Tom seemed so surprised about her calling Beckett aggravating. I guess I assumed that they’ve witnessed their interactions before, especially since they’re neighbours. Was the toilet paper thing in infamous a one time thing or have they (Beckett and Jo) run into each other since then? 11. Is Beckett finally self-aware about his Joana crush after his talk with Donnelly? Or is he still in denial? 12. What was Beckett’s reaction to finding out that the people who tried to hurt him and O’Malley were actually Donnelly’s family? 13. Will we finally get to see Jane’s and Moffy’s babies being born in Unlucky Like Us? 🥰 14. We need more backstory about the paintings! Charlie having the Desolation of the Empire is perfect. Whose idea was it to get the painting replicas? And how did they decide on splitting it up? Where is Ben/Audrey’s one located? 15. What is Charlie’s favorite Luna fic? He’s got to have one that he likes more than the others.

Luna told Donnelly she is a good secret keeper… does this mean they will just be keeping their relationship secret and only bedroom dates until the Donnelly’s are “taken care of”?

I thought Lo would take it harder that Luna and Donnelly had feelings for each other. Did Lo do some processing of this information on his own later? Would he have talked to Lily about this or Conner and Ryke? Is this a potential bonus scene down the road? Luna is protective of her feeling for Donnelly and doesn’t even confide in her best friends or her brother. Does this mean she might be more private in her relationship with Donnelly and the when it comes to the media?

Correct me if I am wrong but why do Moffy and Luna address the reader in their books and all other POVs don't? Luna addresses us as "unearthly reader" and Moffy is just "you".

What was the timeline between when Donnelley was at the group home for a month and when he left, was he what I believe Colin and Donnelley were talking about in forced in prostitution? 2. If it was prostitution is this something Farrow is aware of ? Is there any dark part of Donnelley past that Farrow doesn't know about?

Is Ben aware of Jessie’s crush on Winona? We see the girl squad being asked out as homecoming dates in MLU and know that Kinney had had a rough time with girlfriends in the past. Have any of the girls in the girl squad dated in high school so far or will date? Do any of them hook up with people like their siblings/ cousins had been known to do in high school or have had any flings in the past, even if it was something chaste like a first kiss at a party, if so which ones? (we know Sulli didn’t have her firsts till later so I guess I’m curious if all the girl squad is like that too).

It is mentioned that Luna has tried hard drugs before. How old was she / when did this happened and did Elliot and Tom partake too if she was with them? Do they do it often like at parties or was it just a one time thing? It’s mentioned that Donnelly provided certain services for money to support himself and in addicted to you we know Lilly has paid for services herself. They both seem to feel negatively about it however I’m assuming for different reasons. Will this be a conversation had in one of the books? Does Luna know about her moms past with “paid to screw men” and if so will this be a conversation with Luna and Lilly or Luna and Donnelly or even Lilly and Donnelly? Since Connor knows everything and is besties with Lo, and he has been asking questions about Donnelly’s family since the attack, I’m assuming he must sense something between Luna and Paul. How does he (or Rose and any of the other parents) feel about this relationship if they know or sense it, especially since it now effects their own kids since Becketts attack? How has Connors view on Donnelly or Donnelly and Luna together changed since this event?

Most of the questions have already been asked. I have a few which haven't been. 1) For Lo's party why wasn't Maximoff dressed as his name sake? 2) Has Farrow ever communicated to Lo what Donnelly means to him? Like flat out said it. Or has Lo reached out to Farrow? 3) What is the difference between Zarek and human in Luna's fic. Why is Donnelly obsessing over his similarities and differences to either of these characters? 4) While Donnelly's questions of the day are hilarious, some of them are interesting observations too. The amount of self control Ryke has he could be a Yogi. Is this a point of similarity between between Luna and Donnelly or may be I am reading to much into it. 5) Will the secret identity thing, return in ULU? 6) Who all are aware of things brewing between Lunelly apart from penthouse roommates?

I apologize in advance, I have a lot of questions that I was just writing down during my reread (could probably ask 100 more), no pressure to answer everything of course :) I'm just soo excited to hear your discussions and deep-dive thoughts on this book (since it has become my personal bible since its release 🙃) How were Moffy and Farrow able to tell that something more happened between Luna and Donnelly after/on Halloween? How did they feel about it? What did they think had happened? In the last bonus scene in Farrow‘s pov from the ILU timeline Farrow (the watchparty one I think) still seemed kinda unsure about how donnelly felt about Luna but in mlu he seemed to have realized how deep donnelly‘s feelings ran. Where does this difference come from, especially considering not a lot of time had passed in the timeline? Did the two of them talk about it? Or was Donnelly acting differently to the point that Farrow was certain about his feelings (if yes, how so)? What were Oscar‘s and Farrow‘s ideas/thoughts/guesses on who the mystery girl would be for the triple date? How does Moffy feel about Luna& Donnelly becoming a couple at the end of MLU? Donnelly mentions that he used to be able to hand Luna condoms for hook ups with other men but he couldn’t handle it now. When did those feelings change for Donnelly? Was there a specific moment or time where he went „oh shit, I actually have real feelings for this girl“? Also, related to that, he said on the one hand it would be incredibly painful to give Luna condoms now but then he also told her he was fine with her having a hook-up shortly before they got together. I don’t necessarily think he was lying to Luna when he told her that was okay but how are those paradox feelings both true at the same time? His jealousy and feelings don’t really seem to be compatible with him being fine with her hook ups (just curious how his mind works)

I loooved the triple date and I just want to know what was going through everyone’s head at all points of the night lol. How upset was Oscar and why? Did he believe Donnelly had actually brought Joana as a date in the beginning? Farrow seemed to have caught on quickly about Luna being jealous and Donnelly being worried about hurting her. What was he thinking? What did Moffy think? And then later, did everyone see Lunnelly dirty dance? What did they think (especially Tom&Eliot since they are the only ones that didn’t know that they‘ve hooked up)? What was Farrow thinking when Donnelly went „girl has my heart“? Tom & Eliot seem to think Donnelly is a bit slutty. How did they get this impression? I know he was Beckett‘s bodyguard and friend for a while but I had always assumed that only the older kids knew more private stuff about the bodyguards (and even them, Moffy didn’t even know Farrow has had serious relationships until DLU). How do Tom&Eliot even know about Donnelly‘s hookup behavior and do all the bodyguards have a reputation among the famous kids? Did Lo (and Lily) notice that Farrow was „in protest“ about Lo not being supportive of Donnelly (with Luna)? Farrow also mentions that he has tried vouching for Donnelly‘s character. How did those conversations go? Have Farrow and Lily talked about Donnelly as well? Could you tell us a bit more about the time between Luna and Donnelly deciding they are dating until the end of MLU? We know they were only having dates in Luna‘s bedroom but what were they doing, talking about? Would they spend every evening together and sleep in Luna‘s bed together? Oscar and Quinn seem to have really patched things up since CLU? How are they and their relationship doing currently? What were the Donnellys planing the night Beckett got attacked? Beating him up, kidnapping him? What was the endgame here? Also, how is Beckett doing after that night? Did the attack go public? Does he blame Donnelly for it? Also, if they know what do Leo and Jo think about it or what was their reaction(wink wink)?

Does Donnelly realize that Beckett wants him back on his detail? How would he feel about it? Is that something he would like/consider? This is actually something that I have been wondering for a while. Whenever Farrow was at Yale, did D onnelly completely move with him there and live with him? Or was he still located in Philly and pop in and out? Also how did this whole decision process happen of Donnelly joining Farrow? They didn’t know each other that long when Farrow went off to college right? (would LOVE a bonus scene from that timeline by the way, i love Farrow's and Donnelly's friendship so much and have always been so curious about the early days of their friendship beyond the first meeting) Luna mentioned that Donnelly saw her with Andrew. When did that happen? I thought she only brought him around Moffy once and then never again. Did other bodyguards/family meet him as well? Did anyone like him? Also, was he actually using Luna for publicity for his app or did he like her sincerely? Have Luna and Donnelly slept together again after their first time or did they just hang out as friends after that? Can you explain a bit more about where Luna and Donnelly stand after MLU? Are they still together/broken up/back to being only friends? I’m not sure whether you’re ready to confirm anything yet but do you know whether Jo-Beckett or Jo-Beckett-Leo is going to be endgame? I would love the throuple and am dying for an on-page interaction between Leo and Beckett and their dynamic in general! I'm going to love either ship and whatever you decide to write of course.☺️I just don't want to get too emotionally attached (or rather even more) to Leo if he doesn't end up being one of Beckett's love interests 😂 How did Donnelly feel about Luna deleting all of her fics? Regarding the fall out of from fan fic leak, why did this impact the companies of the core 6? I understand maybe with a baby company but if I imagine halway comics to be like marvel would anyone/or the stock market really care about that the daughter of the founder writes alien smut? We have an idea of Lo's and Lily's thoughts on Lunnelly. What do the other parents think about them together? Regarding the Jeffa scene. Up until this point, we have seen Luna deal with her intense and/or negative emotions by hiding (e.g. in her sweatshirt), becoming quiet or leaving the situation (if possible). Why did she decide to do something in this moment that would put all the attention in the room on her? Was she trying to provoke a reaction or what exactly was going through her head in the moment? Also what were the thoughts of the families and bodyguards after seeing the footage of that moment online?

Are Kitsulletti planning on moving into an apartment below the penthouse soon after the birth of their baby boy? Luna has mentioned that she hasn’t been that good about training Orion. Would Donnelly be more the type to actively train him? Did Luna ever tell Donnelly that she was planning on asking him to be her date at first? If yes, how did he feel about it in retrospect and in an alternate universe where she actually asked him, would he have said yes?

I would love Farrow to tear Lo a new one over this. I am such a Loren fan, but he's making me so mad over this with how privileged and judgmental he's been. I mean, I get it. He's human. But I feel like Farrow needs to step up and really lose his cool over it. I think Donnelly needs that too--for someone to really go into bat for him. I get the feeling no one ever has :(

I dont particularly want Farrow to be mad at Lo. Just tell him, Lo you are wrong he is my brother and he can never do bad shit. I would trust him with Luna, please try to trust him too. I know Lo is kind of already there with the trust thing. But if this is a scene they could write, it would be amazing to read for sure. Farrow is a rule breaker, he can totally break the rules and go to bat for Donnelly. I think Moffy can be a good side kick too.

Who put most and least effort? Did anyone break Lo’s rules (going shirtless maybe??)?? Did everyone wear the correct costume? Did anyone not wear a costume?
