Always the bridesmaids never the bride; well, that changes with this podcast! The Girl Squad are finally taking the spotlight together, and this might be one of our fav podcasts we've recorded! We love, love, love talking about Winona, Vada, Kinney, and Audrey's friendship 💕 We go through a list of their "favorite" things and their style choices and how they relate to the Calloway sisters. Also I don’t go to university in the US but in England it’s probably 50/50, some really dress up and look amazing then the rest of us (including me) are in oversized hoodies and leggings 😂

there’s more range now days but yes many people still dress in baddy shirts and leggings or sweatpants or shorts or slippers with the messy buns lol but some people nice or casual but not i rolled out of bed casual

Who’s pov would you want it in most? It’s kind of unfair of me to ask since I myself have no clue but that’s only because we don’t know xander or Kinney properly since they don’t have books. So maybe like who’s pov out of the ones we currently have would you want the most? Im leaning towards Luna which is surprising me because I LOVE moffy and his interactions with the cobalts…uhhh now I’m confused again 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hopefully you’re better at being decisive 💗💗

From a lot of your comments here on Patreon they give the impression that you might like comics a tad 😂 (I love reading your comments btw! They’re super entertaining 🥳) Basically what I’m saying is could you recommend any comics for beginners? I’ve never read a comic in my life (i can just feel lily & lo shudder😂) so I have no CLUE about where to start. I’ve wanted to try reading them since i started with the addicted series. Which was about a year ago but put it off because I didn’t want to start with the wrong thing and then end up hating it. I wanted to give them a good shot at me liking them since k&b seem to love them hugely 💓 If you don’t have time that’s FINE! I respect that 🙃 💓

out of the list of unwritten and unconfirmed books *dies on the inside a little* which ones do you think you want most? so many people want charlie (don't get me wrong ADORE the guy but he has plenty of growing left to do. in some ways it feels like we've only brushed the surface with him but also not, if you get me? it's befuddling at times *wants to rip hair out but if did so would probably never stop disliking herself for doing it* i'm not sure what cobalt boy i'd want first but if it weren't for luna's books i would have said for sure becket because in my opinion it just makes sense for him to open the series. It also seems like his romance has been built up to be the first (if they get a series) he seems quite neutral, he's calm (from what we know) and has connections with all his siblings. Plus he's a good way for us to get to know charlie (like with Oscar. i have no favourites but that book was a shock and deserves so much more hype) without actually having his book. If they get a series i think charlie's will most likely me the second, i don't see how tom, eliot, and ben could get ones before him since we don't even have a love interest conformation but i wouldn't be unhappy if their's was first, second or whatever! it would be interesting to read your predictions and opinions! :) xxx

Omg I need so many books from them, at the top of my list are Beckett, Eliot, Charlie, and Quinn (bc I think he’ll end up with Frog 🤞🏽 and I need it) but a non Addicted book I’m dying for is Aerial Ethereal books, we have been waiting yearsssss 😭 I feel like Eliot would potentially start any sort of Cobalt series, if not Beckett.

oooh i'd be happy if he started it! i really need need to start the AE books! I've been seeing SO many people talking about them. Which book do you prefer? if you even have preferences :) Why do you think eliot could potentially start it? i can't wait to learn more about him in lunas books! i feel like they could be setting the scene up for him because we've had two, if i'm not wrong, bonuses that have told us a lot about eliot. like obviously we learnt about the other characters but the things we learnt about eliot were about his love life which could mean that we might be getting closer to the possibility of a cobalt series?! i might be reading into too many things xxx

Hey friend ^ . ^ First of all I apologise for the tardy reply, I most certainly ALWAYS make time for the KBR patreons and comics chatter :-) Now comics! Goodness! Really Krista and Becca are the best authorities on comics! I am a mere Padawan! They have been in the comic book game wayyyy longer then i have, therefore their insight is so helpful! But to echo their general guidance, they're huge x-men fans so they made a great fab guide to x-men comics which are linked in this podcast's show notes! So feel free to check those out! Now if you ask me, I think if you have a vague and beginners understanding of which heroes you like, that's a great starting point! Which superhero has intrigued you when you saw them on a toy? on the big screen? in passing in a video game? Spider-Man? Batman? Captain America? Personally, I always gravitate towards darker themes and anti-heroes so I love the batfamily, catwoman. I also love the soap opera aspect of the X-Men which gets so wild at times i find myself drunk explaining what happened during certain events and the whole pub table is like either fallen asleep or deadpan scared haha. It's really up to you! Whatever character you are fond of or a character you would love to get to know more, let me know here on this mini convo we have got going on, and we'll work some comic book guide tailored to you <3<3 Hugs from across the Force ! I NEED ALL MULTI POV PERSPECTIVES. INCLUDING FARROWS :P I want his removed pov from the x-men, but investment into Moffy to know what he thinks of the whole go down XDXD I think it would be such a fun head canon to see discourse over the x-men krakoan empire so eloquently! I literally find myself GRINNING at the idea of Eliot going, "uh duh dad, Mister Sinister should have never been on the quiet council to begin with also it is such a mistake" and Charlie chiming in some open ended wisdom like, "yes but keeping a close watch and manipulating the enemy is better then removing them and creating a blind spot" and the conversation just continuing over red wine. WITH THE WHITE QUEEN HERSELF AT THE SAME DINNER TABLE just smirking *Emma cough i mean... Rose ;)
