Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

What is your favorite wedding you've read from the Addicted Universe (Addicted/Like Us/Bad Rep)? This hangout question is inspired by a podcast topic that was requested this month (but hasn't won), which was all about the weddings! 

Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, lovelies! We FINALLY were able to reveal the Fuel the Fire cover, and if you haven't seen on Instagram (or don't have Instagram), we've posted the cover in the "more news" section! We teased a while back how this cover was the most "different" of all the small updates Berkley Romance made. We're so happy they kept our original designs and gave them cute little alterations! When we saw what they did with Fuel the Fire, we loveeeed it! We know the orange is like "whoa!" at first, but they explained they wanted it to pop next to Addicted After All (which is blue). We love that they're treating the ten-book series as one entire series, and they've really looked at it as a whole instead of two separate entities. And seeing the series all side-by-side, the orange stands out next to AAA. So there's some behind-the-scenes tidbits 😉

We're still in our writing cave, and Unlucky Like Us is likely to be longer than Misfits Like Us. There is soooo much we want to put in this novel, and the trope that we've talked about FOREVER that we've never written before is 100% happening. (We are PUMPED!) And we want to take advantage of it, so we're making sure everything we've ever wanted & imagined is going in this one. On our final-ish rereads, if we feel like the pacing is slow, we'd obviously cut, but in that case, we actually might have deleted scenes for Patreon.

Ahhh I can’t even describe how big I’m smiling that the podcast topic I suggested inspired the hangout this week!! I love all the wedding love 🥰 (and hopefully it becomes a podcast eventually!) My favorite wedding is actually Connor and Rose, which surprises me because I’m the biggest Lilo stan hehe. But the wedding venue in Paris was SO dreamy!! I reread them all the time (even though I have them memorized at this point) and they never fail to make me SOB. It's just the perfect happy ending after how hard they fought to get there. 💕I think of LILO’s vows often. However, since I’ve been to Machu Picchu, Raisy’s wedding holds a special place in my heart. I’d be livid about a surprise wedding, but Rose handled it well. Moffy & Farrows wedding was also iconic with the thunderstorm. You two truly nail weddings! They were all so good! I especially like how so many of the weddings you write are family-centered. Weddings are so often written with a major focus on the couple, but after going to so many, I've always felt that they are more about families then anything else. I think I like Moffy and Farrow's the best because it showed so much with the broader family. Also, I am a sucker for drama.

It's not very likely that we'll write the entire wedding. There's a lot of pressure to do it. Even on ourselves, given it's been so long since we've been in that timeline, and we don't want to write things that our younger selves didn't intend. And likely anything we write would be a disappointment for readers who've imagined it for so, so long. Expectations might just be too great for us tackle it. But luckily there is a chapter where they rehash their vows to one another, so you have an exact sense of what their vows were, and you see their first dance in Thrive. If we do write more, it might be just another small aspect of their wedding reception, but we can't really make any promises even of that

I would SO love this too! It would be amazing pay-off given that as a reader we have learned so much about how part of Farrow's personality is allocated to reinforcing how smart and amazing of a doctor he is! And so seeing him have moments in the white lab coat would be grand! On top of Moffy who has been crushing on him for so long finally see him wearing a lab coat get completely dumbfounded and stuck. Not to mention be enamoured with his hands... cuz you know... everyone knows Moffy's greatest kink is farrow's beautiful hands :D thehehe. It would be so funny if Moffy were visiting Farrow during a quick lunch break during Alphas because he's so thirsty for Farrow in particular during this book and finally seeing, 'that room where all the doctors fuck' hahahah.

Will anybody from back stage try and flirt with Farrow back stage? How would Moffy react? Would Moffy get agged the photos are too sexual? Would he take issue if the photographer was praising farrow as he poses behind the camera? Would they do fun video edits (like those Vogue edits) to promote the cover magazine that month ft. him?
