Father-Son Bonds in the Like Us Series: Loren with Moffy & Xander, Connor with Charlie, Beckett, Eliot, Tom, & Ben

You all voted and the results are in for April 🌷🎉 The last two months, it's been all about the daughters, and now we're taking a look at the sons of the Like Us series! Specifically with their dads 💗 Since Ryke & Garrison are "girl" dads, this podcast will be focused on Loren and Connor's relationships with their sons. We're super excited to dig into this one! Connor is known to be a very observant person. If Charlie were to take a sudden inexplicable interest in a certain clumsy ballerina and Connor was in the vicinity of both of them, for example at one of Beckett’s performances, would he be able to notice the interest on Charlie’s part? Can you tell us anything about what Connor would think about Charlie finally finding someone interesting? I’m sorry I don’t know if that made sense but I love you both and your characters!♥️

Do any of the lads follow sports? In Alphas or Headstrong Like Us I believe, Farrow notes that the three men discuss Philadelphia Eagles talk to pass the time. However, we know from the Addicted series that sports aside from rock climbing, was never a strong bonding thing between the fathers. What has changed, and what sports do they now follow in the Like Us timeline, and do they watch these sports with their sons (or daughters!) at all? I know you guys are massive baseball fans, and X-Men love baseball (hahaha if u know u know) so would it be a far off read to assume that they would also be Philadelphia Phillies fans? This isn’t about the father/son relationship just a random thought I had but I know Garrison kind of see’s Lo, Connor and Ryke as his brothers but do they see him as theirs? I can see Garrison and Lo having that brotherly relationship but Connor is also very close to Garrison and he doesn’t have any siblings of his own so it’d be interesting to see if he thought of him that way. Also do the cobalts see Garrison and Willow as another uncle/aunt?

I find a lot of similarities between Connor and Beckett's personalities. They're both pretty calm for starters. We've also seen in a bonus how Beckett is listening to music Tom enjoys and it reminds me of when Connor read books or watched shows the rest of the core six liked. I also remember him saying that he could withstand faking a smile in front of Grandmother Calloway friends for the sake of ballet, which is something Connor has always done. (And Beckett's sexuality is also a bit of a question mark atm as it was with Connor) Could you talk a bit about their similarities, I find it super interesting as Charlie is the one who is always compared to Connor but in terms of personality I find Beckett more similar to their dad. (Sorry for the long question, I hope it made sense)

I feel like Tom would be the type of person to deflect his pain with Humor, sort of like Lo with sarcasm and it’s said before that Eliot and Tom are like Loren, or Tom is with all the swearing and trying to get on Connor’s nerves, if at a moment Tom would joke to deflect, would Connor immediately know something was wrong like with Charlie, or because we’ve seen little interaction between them would he not be able to tell just because out of his sons they are not the closest? i was thinking the same thing! eliot or maybe even ben. it just seems to fit his “misfit cobalt” vibe to me, as it’d be a mistake that his brothers wouldn’t make. however, i do think eliot would take the risks for the thrill more often.
