The last three months have been all about the bonds, and this one rounds out and completes the father & mother bonds of the Like Us series! I imagine that Lily has shared Xander’s birth story with him. I’m curious to know how that went down and how he reacted as his birth story is such a special one :) Also connected to his birthday, does Lily do anything special to “separate” his birthday from Christmas? I have a birthday that will fall on thanksgiving every few years and my parents try to do some special things to still make the day feel like my own so I wonder if Lily does the same (or if she’s ever felt pressure to do so).

I asked this question from Connor’s perspective on the father sons podcast, but I was wondering if you could go into Rose and Ben’s dynamic? Again, even though they have some pretty significant differences, Rose supports Ben wholeheartedly. I’m pretty sure if you told Rose in kiss the sky that she would be helping her son find his bird in SKOP she wouldn’t believe it lol. I know a lot of that comes from love, but I’m sure there’s adjustments for Rose in her approach with Ben and was wondering if you could speak on that!

Sorry for replying so late! To be fair, I don’t think charlie would get on with rose because she’s too similar to him. With maximoff it could go either way. He could either be the shining light for lily and really help her in a way that ryke helped. Or he could really dislike her for how selfish she is, even though she doesn’t want to be. I think he would like rose because they both have a lot of similarities in what they value. Family, knowledge, being in the know, etc. I think xander could get along with her? They’d both still be rather unhealthy for each other because they wouldn’t be strong enough to push the other to get better or want to but they might be able to bond over comics, fandom talk, cosplaying, etc. I know moffy has those interests too but his need to be selfless and be around people who are is bigger I think… What do you think? I only thought about three so we’ve got many more to learn about

Rose and also Connor have always been extremely confident and they don't usually let people see them in their vulnerable moments. Has this made the Cobalt boys struggle when showing vulnerability? I know Ben usually wears his heart on his sleeve but what about Charlie, Beckett, Eliot and Tom?

I ask because i reread a prologue bonus chapter where Moffy lets himself into Garrison's place without any inhibitions, just very naturally which was quite lovely.

It was alluded to in Bad Reputation that Garrison says that a lot of folks are members of that club with kids that go to Dalton, and I was wondering if the Famous Ones are members as well? And Is that where Lily brought Moffy for his premature swimming lessons and meet ups? Or are they not the country club type?

I second this 100%! You could also make the case that Rose was idealistic when she dated Connor and believed that he too would come to believe in love. Connor definitely thought she was 😌 I think he’s too focused on their differences. How intellectual they all are, how tactless they can be that he misses all the other traits that he too shares.
