Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Weekly Recap

August is upon us!! Which means that Lily's Birthday has happened on the first of the month, and we had the most amazing time at our local B&N to celebrate her b-day with readers and sign new copies of Thrive. Thank you so, so much to everyone who made it out there!! There were lots of patrons in attendance, and some of you even drove hours or flew to make it. It made our hearts swell!! We appreciate you all so much!! It was hands-down one of our favorite signings & experiences ever. We were so full of happiness, and to be able to have time to chat with each of you was everything to us.

This week, Thrive dropped on Lily's birthday, and we're giddy thinking about how Lily's romance and her daughter's romance are now out in the world together! Unlucky Like Us highs are still within us, and we can't wait to gush about the entire book in our big All About Unlucky Like Us deep-dive podcast THIS MONTH! Woot woot!!

💜 NEW EVENT: August 19th, Bookstore Romance Day 2023, hosted by Reads & Company - Phoenixville, PA

Romance authors will be in attendance from 12-4 pm to sign books as readers come by, much like a festival-feel rather than a traditional author event. The street is shut down during the event, so it'll be super cool! Becca will be there to sign books and pass out bookplates with both of our signatures. (Krista can't make the event due to a prior obligation, but I am going to be there and channeling my twinnie's spirit! Hopefully some of you can make it out!)

Addicted for Now is now available in the signed store. A bookplate character note add-on is also available.

Misfits Like Us "photo cover" is now available in the signed store.

Unlucky Like Us won't be in the signed store until likely September. You will be able to request character notes from Luna and Donnelly for any print edition of this book.

My favorite author event I’ve been to was Emily Henry’s theme night for happy place at a Cardinals game in June! It was so fun to meet her and hear her speak, and then get to go to the game! I would love for you all to come to Louisville, but am SO excited you’re coming to Lexington for Authors in the Bluegrass and can’t wait to meet you both there! ❤️❤️

Honestly, probably when I took my toddler to see the author of Pout Pout Fish at the NYC Aquarium. Otherwise, it’s just too hard to choose a favorite out of all the other author signings I’ve been to over the years! Please come to the new Ripped Bodice bookstore in Brooklyn - it’s opening tomorrow with a booksigning by Alexis Daria and Casey McQuiston (and just before the new Red, White, & Royal Blue movie comes out on Prime next week too!)

We don't have a stash of bonuses! This would be helpful lol, but we actually typically write them the during the month they're being posted. We work on them throughout the month. There've been instances where we have more time one month to work on bonuses than the next month, so we'll try to be 1 month ahead and save them for the next month to help ourselves out a bit. But it's super rare that we've stock-piled bonuses for longer than that. A main reason, too, is we just get way too excited to release bonuses. It's why there've been months in the past where we've posted more than 2. We want ya'll to read them!! And so we rarely hoard bonuses over here. We'd rather just write more and post more if we have the time ☺️

I've been to 1 book signing before, but it was only with one author for a book series I liked as teenager and that was a long time ago. I'm from Ohio, so I'm hoping I can make it to the signing next year in Louisville.
