News! Updates on Patreon + Future Series Announcements (Patreon)

Happy Thursday, lovelies!! We realized that we have a lot to share, so instead of cramming everything in the body of a Fizz Hangout for tomorrow, we're coming to you with a separate announcement post.

PATREON UPDATES

Collections: Patreon has been rolling out new updates to the platform, and one of the new things are collections! This is a brand new way to navigate our Patreon and will hopefully make it easier to find the content you're searching for. We've created collections for each character and we'll continue to add more, so you can search for bonus scenes that feature your fav characters. There are also collections for popular topics like bonus scenes, podcasts, master lists, extras, people like us, etc. We're hoping this'll help you find what you're looking for a lot faster than in the past.

You can find collections near the "home" and "membership" tab.

Pricing Tiers: Since the start of our Patreon, we've always had two tiers: $1 and $5. We've never wanted to hike the price and still don't. But with the amount of content growing every year, we've decided to change the $1 Magical Badge Tier. By 2024, it will no longer include the Main Bonus Scene. It will still include the Special Bonus Scenes. So every Main Bonus, Extra Bonus, and past bonus scenes will only be available to the $5 Superhero Badge Tier next year.

FUTURE HALES-MEADOWS-COBALTS SERIES ANNOUCEMENTS

We've finally made concrete plans *tosses confetti every which way* What you've all been waiting for, the news regarding future projects!

Nobody Like Us: Nobody Like Us is the end of the Like Us series. It makes us tear up to think about!! But we 100% want this novel to feel like epic closure to a series that we've spent 7 years writing and that you've spent so many years reading. It is the culmination of everything. Now, we've mentioned in the past that we *might* add more to the Like Us series. So you're probably wondering if that's dead in the water.

Companion Novels: If we do add more, they'd be companion novels and they wouldn't act as "closure" to the series the same way that Nobody Like Us will. One would be more like an epilogue novel and follow Luna & Donnelly (a fourth novel), and the other would be more like a standalone novel and it would be Frog & Quinn's romance (tentatively Bodyguards Like Us -- yes, THIS is why we did not let ya'll suggest a title with a "B" back when you voted on the 13th book title, which would become Nobody Like Us). These two aren't set in stone, which is again why we're calling Nobody Like Us the end, but we know if we ever returned to the Like Us world, these are the only two companion novels that would be written. Outside of People Like Us. Which brings us to...

People Like Us: this is a companion novel that covers the Charming Like Us, Wild Like Us, Fearless Like Us timeline in Maximoff, Farrow, Jane, Thatcher, Oscar, and Jack's POVs during big events like Jane's wedding. We've been posting People Like Us "bonus scenes" to Patreon, and eventually these bonus scenes will be complied into a print version called People Like Us. We have a date in mind that we'd like this to be finished, but it will come after January 2024, which means it won't be in print until sometime after Nobody Like Us.

Future Series Announcements: So as we say a fond farewell to the Like Us series, we'll be embarking on a whole new era with characters you know and love. Mark your calendars because in December, we'll be announcing the new series and Book 1 title. And then in January, when you read Nobody Like Us and reach the very, very end, you'll see the cover and learn which character/romance Book 1 is about. We won't be giving a tentative date since when we change a tentative date, it's caused some disappointment in the past, so we've decided to hold off on any date announcements for our indie books as of right now. You will however have dates and pre-orders regarding our traditionally published series, which brings us to...

THE UPCOMING NEW SERIES

Brand New Series: As you all hopefully know, we have a brand new series in the works from Berkley Romance, and we can announce it's called the Webs We Weave series 🕸 Dishonestly Yours is the first novel, and it's without a doubt one of our favorite novels we've ever written. We said that about Unlucky Like Us when it released, but something must've been in the air during the timespan we wrote these because they're two of our fav novels ever. Late September (soon) or Early October we will be revealing the cover! It'll be on pre-order in Early October, and that means we can finally start gushing about this series!! We're can't say the release date yet, but it is coming in 2024 and sooner than we thought.

It's a trilogy, and after we finish writing Nobody Like Us, we'll be immediately completing the second and third book in the Webs We Weave series. And then, we'll be working on the next novel in the Hales, Cobalts, Meadows fam (the series that'll be announced in December and one you likely can guess if you listen to our podcasts 😉). Just to note: because the Webs We Weave series is trad published, every book has to be complete a year in advance. This is unlike our indie books where we typically finish writing them, then publish them. So that's pretty much why the Webs We Weave series will be fully written before Book 1 even releases.

Updates about Circus Is Family Revamp: We mentioned that we really wanted to revamp the Circus Is Family books in November, but after we spread out everything that's coming, we've decided to hold off a bit. We want to make sure that our main focus is on two projects: Webs We Weave and the future series of the Hales, Meadows, Cobalts. Since Dishonestly Yours means so much to us, we also really want to ensure it's not drowned out by any other projects/announcements, which is why this has all been so tricky.

But on Patreon, we'll likely have extra content regarding things like the Like Us series during this time, especially as we complete People Like Us.

Late September/Early October: Cover Reveal for Dishonestly Yours (Webs We Weave #1)

Early October: Pre-Order goes live for Dishonestly Yours

December: New Series Announcement + Book 1 Title

This is the series that'll continue where the Like Us series leaves off, but it'll kickstart a new entry point for new readers.

January: Nobody Like Us releases. At the end, you'll see the cover for the next new series and learn who'll be the central romance.

And then after January, the new era begins!
