Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

If you could only pick one season of seasonal themed novels to read for the rest of your life (i.e. you can no longer read any other genre of books) would it be: summer reads, spooky/fall reads, or holiday/winter reads? And now that we're on this topic...is there a thing called "spring reads" 🤔😂

Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! And Happiest Halloween as Halloween approaches. (Also Happy B-Day to THE Loren Hale as Halloween nears.) We are in the last Friday of October. Oh how this month has flown by! We are also coming to you from Las Vegas. (Technically, we did write this post early before we flew out there.) But we are now currently gearing up for Love N Vegas, and we can't wait to see some of you at the event! This is our second Love N Vegas and also the only event we've ever been to twice! It's a testament to how fun this one is and how much we adore Vegas in general. 💖

For those that are attending LoveNVegas, when you see us at our table tell us the secret phrase "Fizz Life, Better Life" (the slogan for Fizz Life) for a Patreon exclusive swag item!

What's our favorite thing to do in Vegas? Besides going to Cirque du Soleil (of course!), we love walking around and popping into all the themed casinos. We are so here for the themes! Sadly, this year, we won't have time for a cirque show, but we will be soaking up all the Vegas vibes. It's also our last event of the year, and it's capping off one of our busiest years of our careers. So this is a super fun endnote to 2023 events for us. 

BUT we have one more signing in Marietta, GA! So technically it's not the end-end. November 1st, we'll be at the new East Cobb B&N to sign from 5-7pm and we hope to see you there!! 

As far as writing goes, we are still working on Nobody Like Us. We had a bit of an "aha moment" recently and decided to restructure some things in the front half of the book. We'd been thinking something has felt off for a bit, and so when the solution hit us, it felt pretty magical. We're loving the direction everything is going for this one!

Spooky/fall reads! More specifically, I love books where academia plays a role as a setting or a theme. It’s really fun to walk through campus with said book in hand! It all feels more atmospheric. I do really enjoy summery reads as well, I tend to fly through those! I don’t think I’ve read many wintery or spring-y books, but I love love love the spring aesthetic so it would be awesome to read more of those! 🥰

Ohhhh good question! I think I’d have to pick fall/spooky books. You get the most variety (Thriller, Sports Romance, etc etc). Also you’re not wrong about spring books! LOL. However, I’m always in the mood to read royal books in the spring so I’ve always attributed those to that season 👑💐🌷🌸💎 Safe travels and have a blast at Love N Vegas!!!

omg so at model un conferences, there’s always this one guy that competes in my same competition. he sweeps the awards EVERY time but he is so sweet and so smart that i really believe he deserves it. last saturday, i learned that his last name is actually keating. all i could think about when i heard that was charlie and i thought that was so cool lol

Holidays/Winter is my favorite season! I look forward to it all year. But part of the fun of it is that it doesn’t happen all the time, so I think I’d prefer what we have now - changing seasons! I love reading books for every season, usually during the season but not always. I hope you both know how awesome your Patreon is! The amount of content you both produce is really impressive. A few questions for you ladies, I hope you had a great time in Vegas! 1. Do to the first book in Dishonesty yours series not coming out until summer, do we have to wait until we get closer to the release date for you to do a What to expect podcast about the first book ? What about pinterests will you release boards for each character this year or closer to the release? 2. For Nobody like us do you plan to reveal the release date in November or December and will you do a what to expect in Nobody like us podcast? 3. Requesting a bonus scene with Baby Maeve being introduced to the cobalt family specifically Connor and Rose ( imagining Maeve looking just like her mom with the cobalt blue eyes )

Y’all I just saw a sad lily edit about ulu and I’ve been in my feelings since. when ulu came out I never really processed what happened to lily cuz like fuck that lemme live in denial. But y’all. They beat, punched, slapped, broke her leg, threw her around and left her to die. She had to be put in a coma becuz they didn’t think she could survive the pain. The hale kids were VERY close to losing a mother that day and all the media could do was talk shit about her picture of her beaten up and left for dead. Moffy saw that picture dude. Like I need Loren to do what he really wanna do and kill every last one of them

It should be going into production soon. It was delayed because of narrators' schedules, but we're going to nudge this month and see where it's at. Hopefully we get more news.

1. As soon as galleys/ARCs go out for Dishonestly Yours, we can do a What to Expect podcast for it. We'll definitely want to tease more about it once the ARCs are out in the world! Same with Pinterest character boards. We've already started working on them. But we won't reveal them until at least the ARCs are out. 2. We'll likely have the pre-order and release date for Nobody Like Us ready in December. The Extra Podcast in Dec will also most likely be the What to Expect in NLU podcast. 3. That'd be such a good one! Going to add it to our list!
