Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

Thanksgiving is approaching and you get an invite to Thanksgiving Dinner at the Meadows Cottage, Cobalt Estate, Hale House, and Abbey Loft. (You are so popular!) But alas you can't clone yourself and go to all of them. So you have to choose one place to go for dinner and one for dessert. So where are you going for dinner and where are you having dessert?

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! Some really cool news happened this week. For the first time ever, we've put the Like Us Series into Kindle Unlimited. Woot woot 🎉 Truly, NONE of the Like Us Series books have ever been in the KU program. We've always been hesitant because we've been "wide" authors for so long and we know we have many readers on other platforms like Apple Books and Kobo. But we also know this is a big series with a big commitment and the barrier to entry is lower in KU, so we hope this will give some readers the urge to pick these ones up. We don't know how long we'll have them in KU for. It's definitely more of a test for us, since this is the first time in years we've even had books in the program. But we are very excited about it and hopeful that new readers will start the series, and maybe even long-time readers will continue on if they've paused mid-series.

In other news, we've been hard at work on Nobody Like Us. It's starting to really come together in the ways we've imagined and that's one of the best feelings. We're hoping this means smooth sailing until the very end!

I want to say I would go to the Cobalts for dinner because they’d go all out. I imagine it to be similar to Wednesday dinners. Plus to see all the Cobalt kids I know they’d all do their best to make it. But I don’t think I’d fit in very well so I would go with the Hale’s who I think would be a little more down to earth and I would feel the least out of place with them. Then I would go to the Meadows for dessert because obviously they would have all the sweets (chocolate everything and donuts! and waffles!)

I’m not a huge Thanksgiving person so I’d definitely go to the Hale’s for dinner because I think it’ll be casual and fun. And maybe a little quirky! 🤪 For dessert I’d go to the Meadows’ where I think I’ll find the best sweets! Plus, I’d give anything to witness Banks and Akara interacting with Ryke at the dinner table 😬

Hello girles! Thanksgiving! How lovely. I wish i celebrated it. So unfortunately I don't have any meals or traditions myself. I know that some of the recipes, but funnily enough they seem to overlap with Sunday roasts that we do sometimes here. Where every sunday the family makes a thanksgiving meal. So there's that! What about you guys? I will live vicariously through you! Do you normally watch thanksgiving movies on thanksgiving? Hopefully by next week Unlucky Like Us will remain in stock and i can snatch an autographed copy before it sells out! (My bank details were compromised last weekend so i'm waiting for my new card to arrive to hit purchase. It was such a headache and felt low key invasive when it happened... yeah not a great week -.-) This question has definitely had me thinking though! As well as I made my sunday brunch today, how fun would it be to get in the extra sections as a fun idea, some of the Like Us/Addicted cast's favourite drinks or meals! Some ideas at the top of my head could be- -This morning i was like, I so wish i could be making Farrow's go to Sunday breakfast meal! -Donnelly's and Luna's perfect movie snacks compilation for movie night! -Moffy's guide to a perfect cup of tea -Lily and Lo's no fuss no time family meal -Sulli's Olympic Gold certified winning prework our (or post workout) smoothie :) -Willow's guide to perfect snacks while reading comics! -Once we get to Wednesday Night dinners, a formal invitation with the whole dinner menu laid out, or, recipes featured from the dinners! -Ryke's guide on hits and misses when it comes to protein bars (I can just imagine he writing "this one fucking sucks don't eat this it tastes like chalk and trust me, i've tasted chalk XD") -Daisy's recipe to perfect cookies or a frosted cake! And maybe even the recipes annotated inside from the couples themselves! Maybe the recipe maker (I.e. Sulli) instruct but then have Banksie and Kits comment on the side to her as she guides you through the recipe. Essentially them bantering off her! I just know Marrow's would be iconic as well! Or Lunalley! My Heart. Anyway, Food for thought (wink wink ;) Get it?! ahh. I need more coffee.

P.S. I FINALLY GOT HOGWARTS LEGACY available for switch and it just arrived in the mail... and to NO surprise my protagonist is a tall brunette green eyed Hale known as MAXIMOFF Hale! hehe. I of COURSE had to play my favourite character in the Like Us series hehe. It's gonna be hard to try and make him a hufflepuff at the sorting hat ceremony bc he is a griffindor... but i know that there is a ship in the game with a certain slytherin named Sebastian... and we all love a griffindor and slytherin ship... the epitome of my favourite trope... Golden Retreiever and black cat trope! So i may have to retcon Moffy's sorting for my own indulgence's sake! hehe forgive me !

Of the Core 6, it's kinda hinted at that only Ryke is good at cooking. The Calloway sisters aren't the best cooks, and Connor is more of an on-the-go fancy take-out person (and in his older age, the Cobalts do have the private chef).

I think the only Thanksgiving movie we've watched around this time would be the Family Stone, which we always forget about and then watch and it surprises us every time 😂 We have a pretty typical sort of thanksgiving with fam. But I haven't spent it some years with Krista bc she celebrates with her fiancé's fam. It's always so odd not having her around for the holidays! We'll try to post about the next restock too for ULU! It might be a little bit because we're waiting for more books. We sold out of a lot of the ones we just ordered. Oh I love those ideas!!! I'm already thinking about Donnelly and Luna's movie snacks *grins* I'm saving them in our notes bc they would be really fun extra posts, and we've been trying to come up with more extra post ideas lately! YES WE DO! This season of Amazing Race is hands-down one of my all-time favorites. I actually think it's 100% a perfect season to start bc it's the most classic feeling Amazing Race in a long time, and there are so many teams to root for, great competitions, and shocking eliminations. It's Season 35. This season of Big Brother was a bottom five season, if not my least favorite season of all-time. It started off strong but then tanked. I would suggest watching Big Brother Season 6 first. It's really addicting, then Season 7 right after. Season 10 is another great season, alongside Season 14. I also really love Season 20. There are way more "bad" seasons of Big Brother than there are good, in my opinion, and you can skip the boring ones, so I would consult online lists that rank them and avoid the low-tier ones at all costs.
