Roses & Thorns Throughout the Like Us Series: Cobalt Empire Edition

The results are in for January, and we are pumped we'll be discussing all the roses and thorns 🌹🥀  (aka highs and lows) of the Cobalts throughout the entirety of the Like Us series! From Damaged Like Us allll the way to Nobody Like Us 😉 We might not need to take too many questions for this one, since it's more of a "ranking" podcast, but if there is a specific rose or thorn moment you'd like us to touch upon, let us know!

I’m so excited to hear about the Cobalts’ roses and thorns throughout the series! I do think that Tom’s thorns might be along the same vein for a good chunk of the series lol (poor guy 😅💀), so it’ll be fun to hear the way that you’ll describe it for each book! 𝐌𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: • Could you discuss one high and low moment that Rose and Connor have had with each of their children (if that makes sense)? I know that might be a bit of a lengthy question, though, so I understand if not! :)

Why did you choose Roxanne as a love interest for Charlie, was it a way to expand the world into going in Circus is Family series so that it will connect more with the Addicted and Like Us series or something else?

So excited for this one! Considering the roses/ thorns of each Cobalt, how would you rank them by 1. Most challenging scene to write, 2. Most heartbreaking thorn, 3. Character with the most development throughout the series, 4. Best LOL moment ,5. Best one liners (hard one I know !), 6. Most interesting dynamics within the family. ❤️❤️

how has ben's relationship with his family changed since he was a kid? im curious do they compromise their own opinions and views on veganism for example or his 'idealistic' beliefs (maybe except charlie who outright calls him stupid and naive), if they fight can it sometimes be him vs. them? has there ever been any tension because he seemingly fits in with the meadows more than the cobalts and how does HE feel about it-- does he feel like the black sheep, does he prefer to stay in places where he feels understood and like he gets along with people? (the meadows cottage and recently college). i feel like mostly his brothers want him to move to new york but maybe there was a point where ben just started choosing to have so many friends and be with other people to avoid his brothers.

the Lance incident is one of the few times we actually see Eliot completely lose his mind. What was it exactly that triggered that reaction? I know he cares about Ben, but I just wanna know if there's more to it than that and whether or not it'll be elaborated on in later books. Thank you for all the extra content!

I would love to hear about all the secrets we discovered in NLU. NLU SPOILERS!!!!! - Jeffra and Eliot storyline. Did Tom know what Eliot was planning to do? - Charlie's and Beckett's relationship after Beckett asked Donnelly to transfer out of his detail. I remember him saying that Charlie "hated him". - After discovering the deal Ben made with the T-bags I can't help but wonder if Ben feeling like a hypocrite towards Xander made him not want to put the effort to rekindle the friendship. - I would love to know more about how the car crash impacted each of the brothers. I've noticed Charlie still struggles from time to time with his leg and Ben still doesn't like driving or is very cautious about who's driving. But I would like to know how it impacted the rest and also how did they find out about it? - Since when has Tom had a crush on Leo? I'm not sure if they all fit the topic of the podcast so it's okay if you can't answer all of them, I'm sure I'll enjoy the podcast either way and I absolutely adored NLU. Thank you so much ❤️
