Long time listener, first time questions asker😂. In chapter 67, Ben’s interaction with Harriet, I noticed that prior to seeing Harriet Ben was always being stopped by people but he never really gave anyone his full attention (something I think is a Connor Cobalt trait). However, when he saw Harriet he disregarded the class he needed to get too and stayed with her instead (again very Connor with Rose). I guess I was wondering if this scene was intentional to show the readers that maybe Ben is more like his parents than he thinks or was it just a coincidence.

You have probably answered with before but i am curious what is the nature of Ben and Tom's relationship? Despite their similar ages, Tom and Ben rarely ever interact at least on page. Is this because of their differences in personality or are we yet to see their dynamic as brothers?

I think their decision on which pov they want to write from stems from a plethora of different factors, not just the character with the most page time. I also think creating a different sub will require additional work and time, which they already don't have much of anyway. Since there's 4944 Cobalts and their series is coming soon, naturally, there's going to be more content involving them. 🌹

There are a few scenes in skop and also in certain bonus chapters where Ben doesn’t know what his siblings are referencing (like quotes and books) or he says the wrong name in regards to an author etc. Does it bother him that he doesn’t know? Does it annoy him when they correct him or is he fine with it? Does it make him feel less like a Cobalt?

in the “connor answers charlie’s call” bonus scene, connor and ben have a talk. in this talk, connor says “no bird will replace the absence of Ben’s big brothers. Not for Ben. I see it in the days he drifts through the house.” and that “He misses his brothers, and that hurt isn’t something I can relate to in the least”. if ben truly misses his brothers so much, why choose to be away from them? is it more like how audrey is now that ben’s gone where she hates how silent the house is? or is it more because ben still truly loves his brothers, but knows that him being around them won’t end well? kinda like subtracting himself from the equation so thinks don’t end up bad?

I'm not saying that he suffers from any mental health problems but if he did would he be similar to Daisy and hide it, suffer in silence while putting on a façade/mask? I wonder about his mental health because of him being a sensitive person, him feeling out of place in his family, a bad relationship with his older brother, losing his friendships with Xander, not being as close to his bestie Winona and despite being a social butterfly it seems that he doesn't have meaningful friendships, etc. I feel like everything is a recipe for a bad headspace.

Just want to say I love this series and you guys so much, I thought the scene in skop where Ben tries to run away is really interesting because it’s so sad to see a little six year old boy feel so left out and different from his family that he feels like the only solution is running away, hurts my heart 😩, I was just curious if there have been any other times in his childhood where he has thought about running away again or if he has actually attempted to run away again?
