So this plot hook was something that I had in mind back in the New Year's Eve issue. If you recall, Reginald was introduced as a book agent who represented Patty's favorite author (back in issue 13 on page 7). I intended for this issue to be Chapter 15, so it would follow a bit closer on the heels of that encounter. But, I got the idea to expand out Nicole and Lorraine's section after the Spa Day and this got pushed back a wee bit.

I had the idea that he may have tried to send her a gift of contrition due to the mix-up they had at Olivia's party. And what better gift than some exclusive early access to content from her favorite writer?
