Well, it only took the entire show, but they managed to make Spyke cool!

Honestly, when he stopped popping up as much, I assumed his departure with the Morlocks to be the show's way of writing him out. I'm still not entirely sure that assumption was wrong, but I'm glad we got to return to him for this brief moment. It, at the very least, cemented him as a character with great potential.

Sorry it's only one episode this week. I got completely swamped (and I wanted to make sure I could dedicate more time to the next one....iykyk).

The best compliment I can give your reactions is that it is 2:40 in the morning where I live and I’m watching this video before I go to sleep

This episode stuck with me so hard as a kid that basically until this rewatch and reaction series I had forgotten how underused spike was until here. This really is just a standout episode of the whole show. Obviously, no one dies cause it’s still a 2000 kids show, but I’m still amazed that they managed to do such a good adaptation of the spirit of the mutant massacre.

I just want to say that I love this series and you have made me fall back in love with the x-men. My daughter and I watch the show from the 90s. She’s only five months old but she loves Gambit because of the colors and I gotta say at least I’m raising her right in her taste lol

This show was my introduction to X-Men as a whole, and you've really made me realize how underutilized Storm and Spyke are. I guess I just memory-holed how little Storm was allowed to do, but it's quite glaring on a rewatch. Especially finding out that in the comics she had close ties to the Morlocks which could've been a perfect thing to explore with Spyke as an added factor is big. Also, I haven't forgotten the PTA fanfic concept. I kind of feel like it would've been cool if Pietro were here for at least a bit kind of validating Evan's issues with human bigots. Not the main focus of the episode or anything, but it would have been a fun little bit of a callback.

I can't tell you the whiplash I got after being introduced to Xavier with this show and then reading the comics. Also, I wish they added some colour to Scott's eyes.

If you're looking for obscure shows, might I recommend the 2000's He-man and Masters of the universe. It's two seasons, but even the first 3 episodes react would be fun. And it's a lot more impressive than people think He-man can be.

Rick

Xavier sends Logan because if he let Storm go she might convince him to comeback and he's doesn't want that if you look back he seems to be actively trying to get rid of him every time Evan has a issue

Loving your vids man and if you want another Highschool AU. Ironman Armored Adventures could be a fun watch.
