...and so so much fun.

These two episodes completely sold me on the show. For starters, we have a genuinely interesting look at Storm. She's still a little too in the backseat for my liking, but at least it seems like she'll be on the team going forward. Plus, we got a great showing from the Shadow King. Any other day that'd get top billing but NOPE. We also got the Gambit ep and it's jsut as fun as I hoped.

It's amazing that even a version of the character so different from the books (he may have a shady past but he's never just mean) can still feel so correct. Gambit continues to prove why he's one of my favorite characters ever.

It is so funny how the end of that episode is basically wolverine had this whole overnight adventure straight out of bed, comes back and everyone like "Hey Logan where were you? You want some breakfast?" Logan "Fuck that french guy, I'm going to sleep."

Amara (my third favorite X-man because of evolution) went from a character arc and three character focus episodes and being one of the more recurring side/supporting characters in evolution, to a cameo in Wolverine and the x-men...

Tbf without evolution itd be amazing she even got a little spotlight in watxm lol

Honestly, I love this version of the Shadow King because he really represents the concept of trauma so well. And the fact that even if the source of the trauma is gone, it can still affect us years later. Even when we think it's gone, trauma can hit us back and cause us to repeat the trauma to somebody else. And I think that's perfect for the Shadow King. Being the physical manifestation of trauma is terrifying and I love it.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Storm gets more to do in this show. I'll admit, I half expected Zane and Trask to get away with the collar, but I suppose as you say in the video, this is a kids show; that would be a pretty depressing outcome.

Genuinely some of my favorite episodes whenever reruns would air growing up, love Storms episodes

Makes me wonder if Corina Ellis got inspired by Sybil Zane.

The Gambit man-crush is one of my favorite things about this channel

I’m a major simp for Gambit so I love that he was included in the show. He’s top 10 Marvel characters for me, potentially top 5.

Leo

I legit don't remember this show at alll

Zeni

We need the “Blast Ball Special” when they bring Scott to rivals

Black Marvel

I liked this show but I need more respect on Storm. 1 or 2 episodes focusing on Storm just isnt enough. She is 2nd in command of the team somebody do her justice, PLEASE!!!
