Gold Zelda NES Secret Stash Cartridge (Patreon)

I printed the early prototypes of this model using the Default Monotonic selection for the Bottom Surface Pattern and I noticed there were some slight imperfections on the shiny surface that were easily shown. I changed this selection to be Hilbert Curve and daaaammmmmn that Hilbert Curve is fine and it kinda gives the look of a textured surface. This is what is shown in this video and is selected on the attached 3mf files but please free to change this selection and experiment with different surface patterns. The Monotonic looked really nice and shiny too but it showed some imperfection but maybe it’s just my gold silk material.

Also in order to achieve the shiny surface finish these models are printed face down against a WhamBAM PEX Build Plate. If using PLA, No adhesive is required and if you want a shiny Surface DO NOT scuff your WhamBam build plate.

NO SUPPORT REQUIRED - the material is bridged across the gaps where the finger notches are.

I printed the models on the Bambu Labs X1C and A1 using the AMS system and All PLA material…

This model when printed at 100% is the true cartridge size.

I am also working on a variation which will include a hinge in the center, no magnets and slot to hold switch and gameboy games. I hope to have that model finalized within the next few weeks.
