Damascus Blade Fidget (Patreon)

This Damascus Pattern Fidget Blade just might be my favorite fidget design so far. I gotta get a little better at flipping this thing around but I did figure out some new tricks with this design and I can’t hold it back any longer. The magnet pattern is the same as the circuit board, using 8x3mm magnets which can be purchased from Amazon, link below….

I redesigned the bottom plate for a tighter and more seamless fit.

Another really cool feature about this design is if you use a tri color filament (Eryone Tri-Extrusion Red/Blue/Green Silk PLA shown in the video) the Damascus pattern looks like Rainbow Damascus or Abolone and you can change the color of the blade by rotating the model 90 degrees in the Z direction in bambu studio. The filament will produce a Red, Blue or Green blade depending on the Z orientation.

A silver blade/body with a black pattern looks pretty sick too. I suggest a silk filament and matte black for the pattern on the top and bottom and of course a WhamBam PEX build plate for a glass like finish on the top plate. This fidget works best when the bottom plates are printed on a textured plate.
