Seryth

While the opening is showing some characters that will appear later in the season i think it doesn't spoil anything.

Svenja

Giggling and kicking my feet as Woo Jinchul "stops" the two S-Ranks. I love this guy

Jukinru .

I agree, anything shown is completely out of context and doesn't spoil anything. People are being weird telling them when they should and shouldn't watch the opening and endings to these shows.

winter

jinwoo is my goat for this reason

khalid eid

Yeah, he just killed kim hunter and that was dark actually not gray lol, and when he said this the third time he meant this another emotion gone from him, now he can recruit the people he killed without regret of killing them just to make his army stronger

Phoenix

One of the themes from season 1 is Jinwoo internalizing the survival of the fittest value. I think that is why he did not feel any regret killing Kim and making him a summon. All we have to do is look at what Kim would have done had Jinwoo not killed him - He already left them for dead, when he came back he would have killed the other three weaker subordinates had Jinwoo not interfered. And finally, he was coming at Jinwoo with every intention to kill him. It's either kill or be killed in the dungeons - there are no laws to protect the weak. In this sense, what Jinwoo did was not grey at all.

zoomTACO

Thanks ladies! Hope you feel better soon!

Tylo

the webtoon/manga for this shows so much more of the shadows and their personalities i really wish they put more of their banter in the anime

TJ

Of all the characters ever thought of in the history of all anime. When girls swoon over Jinwoo i cant help but think "yeah, i'd swoon too" lol

Fuzzywinkle

Yeah I've never really understood why people say to not watch the intro. It's literally the intro and just gets you hyped for the episode. Sure, after you understand all the context its "spoilers" but in reality its not? Either way, love the reacts

Neonic Rayne

Its insane how this show (especially this season) gets better each episode. The peak just keep peaking over and over, its crazy.

EliteEdge

Yeah I think the only thing that might have been a spoiler before this episode was you saw Iron and Tank in the opening fighting for him. Now that thyve met them I also believe it is safe.

Thanny

Revealing characters that haven't been introduced is a spoiler.

Art

Keep in mind Kim was coming to kill Jinwoo. So it was actually self defense IMO.

Jukinru .

It's not a spoiler, it's a little preview of what's to come to get you excited. I've been watching anime since the 90's and I've never seen a new character or setting in an opening and was spoiled for it.

Cyber

not really, jinwoo set kim chul up. his sword was no where near kim landed, you can see the sword near jinwoo when he was facing off with barka when he said "i havent enjoyed a fight this much". Jinwoo kicked that sword to kimchul to goat him into attacking him, so that he could kill him in "self defense" and turn him into a shadow.

Cyber

fun fact, jinwoo set kim chul up. his sword was no where near kim landed, you can see the sword near jinwoo when he was facing off with barka when he said "i havent enjoyed a fight this much". Jinwoo kicked that sword to kimchul to goat him into attacking him, so that he could kill him in "self defense" and turn him into a shadow.

Yathavan

its at this point that sung became a morally ambiguous anti-hero, the system didnt tell him to do uno what to 'iron', leaving someone for dead is not the same as killing them. But Sung - not by the system's design but by choice acted as he did this episode, he's no longer a hero and no longer a victim but the aggressor, at least in my eyes...

Zebraman

Jinwoo can only see the names above enemies in Instances that the system gives him, not in the gates. Love the reactions.

Zonbi

Still self-defense. You make it sound like he jedi mind tricked Kim into doing it lol.

Zonbi

Wasn't that dark. Kim decided to kill him so he got killed back. Not that complicated. Even if he goaded him into it, Kim was a psycho and could have gotten them all killed during the fight if Jinwoo didn't account for it.

Scavenger

The Dub of this show had Jinwoo say "4" when buddy was doing his three second countdown & he jumped in. XD I'd suggest watching it in your own time, its pretty great.

Zonbi

I've never understood why people who enjoy anime want reactors to have this weird sanitized experience. Didn't we all grow up watching intros and stuff? Or was my childhood experience unique?

Kazuma

Yeah Jinwoo offering the possibility and Kim Chul acting on that possibility are 2 different things

Cyber

some of us didn't watch the intros (whether they were cut out due to advertisement time on tv, or just out of preference or fast forwarding), but also the intros for anime LATELY have been more spoilery than ever before for many shows. And while the "context" is not exactly the same here, you are LITERALLY being shown characters that haven't showed up in the show yet. If i show you for example in the intro that a protagonist is petting a big husky and playing ball with him with puppy eyes, you now see a husky that's friendly with the protagonist. So if the show comes in, and the protagonist is hurt on the ground and a big huge husky shows up in attack positioning growling at him. The ones who didn't see the intro are now trying to see what will happen without bias. The ones who saw the intro will go "oh he's fine, they're gonna be friends". (and im using the "puppy eyes" example intentionally for this intro, IYKYK.) PS: it's also mostly for reaction purposes because they don't get the chance to binge a show like we do, so seeing too much of in the intro , especially in shows like AoT etc can ruin the show for u... here however? not a big BIG deal, but still... if they watched the intro instantly, they'd have seen iron and igris and other stuff... best to not ruin that).

Mythrial

You're ignoring the fact that Kim was 100% about to kill the party around the fire and was doing a countdown. Jin Woo waited until the last moment before intervening. He gave Kim a chance. The first two times Jin Woo had to get hurt before he fought back, not this time. At that point, violence as self defense is justified. And he needed another strong soldier to be able to kill the boss since he felt that even him and igris might not be enough. It does become greyer that he raises him, but Jin Woo didn't seek out the fight, and would have been 100% comfortable fighting along Kim to get everyone out

KIMBERLY OSBORN

This has been so much fun to watch with you guys . I can't wait for the new season.

Mikki_Frost

Cyber, even then, Kim was actually going to kill the low ranked members, no matter what he 100% deserved it.

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

He deserved it. Jinwoo needed him to fight with him. Since he was attacking Jinwoo, he had no choice but to end him then have him help fighting the elf boss
