First and only mention about awakening was in Impel Down, there were those big animals like koala or cow, it was said that they are awakened Zoan users, but the power of the fruit kinda took over their mind.

Slejhy

Nah you're good, everyone is still calling it Conqueror's Haki or Haoshoku

IT'S HERE! I've been waiting for the G4 reveal since Sabo's reveal. THERE'S THE G!!!! Yes Oda made us manga readers wait a week, and the studio also made all the anime watchers wait a week. Chapter 783 (which ended with Luffy saying Gear 4th like ep725) was released on my birthday 11 years ago, April 13, 2015. Then the next chapter (784) was just titled "Gear Fourth." It was a great (unintentional) birthday present from Oda.

Y M K

you have already seen awakening

DarnedStingray8

The Gear Four reactions are what started me watching One Piece reactors, and you're finally here!!!

SimStu

Finally here. I love how 4th gear is just Luffy putting all his power ups together. 2nd gear, 3rd gear, and haki, all in one

I want to see an awakened Robin... Like, a flower field, but every "flower" is just another Robin? With a giant Robin in the middle, as a "tree"? Also, would an awakened Brook just become a necromancer, and ressurrect anyone?

MotU_Shosha

Oda-sensei did something crazy here: Luffy levels up and uses Gear 4 for the first time and in the next episode we immediately learn that there is a whole new level that he can try to achieve next. And on that question why Doflamingo isn't getting tired: Doflamingo is much older than Luffy, had many more years to perfect his skills and has much more experience in using them. Gear 2 and 3 were hard on Luffys body pre-timeskip, now he uses them much easier. Same goes for Doflamingo and his abilities.

The Goto Guy

Back when we learned about Sabo and Koala I made a list of why Dressrosa was tied for my favorite arc. I may have left out one small (4th) reason. 🤔

Atlantic Ocean

This isn't the first time awakening has been mentioned. We've actually seen multiple awakened zoans before.

Jake

The swirls on Luffy’s chest are similar to the devil fruit patterns

Wojciechu

Lu-Lu-Lu-Lu-Lu-Luffy Senpaiiiiiiiiii!

Adrian Ramirez

Oh mannnnn they finally got here I can't believe it. And you didn't get spoiled holyy I'm so glad yall loved this as much as I do ☺️☺️

Adrian Ramirez

You can just call it conquerors no need to switch 👍👌

Jeffrey Xue

Lost in the hype of these episodes, I really appreciate Cabbage's moment with Law. "If you're gonna die, it's gotta be after me!"

Erik Župa

Peuple are laughing when Luffy transform into Gear 4 same as Doflamingo till the moment he bounce to the Doflamingo with supersonic speed and punch him into ground.

Derek Cook

You're thinking of Nightmare Luffy Haley and yes gear 4 looks very similar

Test Test

devil fruit awakening is pretty rare. Even bigshots like whitebeard didn't awaken his fruit.

Garp's Fist of Love

Luffy flying is basically him doing sky walk on steroids lol

Hotshame

The colors thing is just translation and they settled on calling it colors: Color of Arms (Armament haki the black coating) Color of Observation ( observation haki ) Color of the supreme king (Conqurer's haki)

Hotshame

People in the community usually write it up as: CoA CoO CoC (pause)

Saya Scarlet

LET'S EFFING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ♥

Mythrial

I watched ep 725 completely happy and smiling, and I knew what was coming, and the moment Luffy said "Gear Forth" my eyes immediately overflowed, let me tell you, I wasn't expecting it. Freaking love op
