E12 - KATANA VS. CHAINSAW

WOW this show has totally surprised us in the best way. Thank you so so much for suggesting this over and over! We genuinely can't wait to watch the endings and the movie! The game plan for next week is the Endings video/some small specials on Tues, a poll for what's next (probably on Thurs), and then the Movie as early as Thurs if it can be edited in time (we can't watch it until Monday). If not on Thurs then Sat for sure 🫶 We hope you have a fantastic rest of your weekend!-Haylo & Kiss 💕

P.S. Let us know how you feel about the lighting here! We think it's cozy but potentially a little too warm. Appreciate any feedback!

Chainsaw man and Frieren tell the same story. It's a story of a character detached from humanity. Learning what it is to be human and how to connect with humanity. The difference comes from the support system each character has. Denji is going through that arc without a support system and through the eyes of a very young character. Frieren is going through that as an older character that has a support system in place to help them. At least this is how I interpret the two of these shows.

I think they would love My Hero Academia

TB0796

We are getting season 2 news on the 19th so it’s definitely on its way! There is also a teaser trailer if you wanted to check it out, I know you guys don’t typically watch trailers but I just wanted to throw that out there (the trailer showed nothing major)

Kokuutou92

The subway scene always reminds me of Spider-Man 2's Peter stopping the subway scene.

Lloyd Edwards

I couldn't tell last episode but I know in the movie the VA for the shark fiend is Okarun

Timeismana

The lighting is great!!

よに 。

Thank you as always! I'm looking forward to it. 💡Regarding the lighting... I think it's good because it makes people look healthier than blue tones.

Tobi/とび

I'm pretty sure we'll get a Season 2 that adapts Volumes 7 to mid-10 and then a movie that finishes Part 1. Since the first season adapted Volumes 1 to mid-5 and the movie covered the rest of Volume 5 and all of Volume 6, they're going to treat it the same way.

dotPHUNK

I honestly think Denji suggesting revenge in the form of kicking Katana guy in the nuts was to show that he is still human. That guy was seeking revenge in killing Denji for his grandpa's death but as we know, that was a just action because he was a zombie. Denji suggesting they kick him in the balls until the police arrive is well... kinda messed up but not on the level of revenge as murder. He participated in Himeno's murder and revenge for that would have been to kill him back but the worst they did was kick him in the balls for a bit. I think it goes to show the humanity of Denji in my opinion. It is an immature thing a 16 year old would do in my opinion. I don't think Denji even considered killing him.

Kazumadesu

Alright how do I get in on the voting? Will the poll on thurs be on patreon? or the discord

Mufufu

WE ARE READY

TB0796

They will probably do 2 cours for this finale since we can wrap up the rest in around 13 episodes but i could also see them doing another movie.

Wyllyum Clark

Can I petition for Kaiju no. 8, My Hero or Mushoku Tensei to be the next watch please and cheese :)

TB0796

It will be on patron

Watt

I think that Kobeni is a great character, stealthy, quick, and she obviously has a couple of screw loose. If there's other seasons, I can't wait to see more of her character, honestly

Username123

excited for the movie reaction, if I had to give a suggestion for the next series I'd have to say neon genesis evangelion. It's a classic and inspired so many anime that came after it.
