Uh no man, not gyokyo. 玉葉 is pronounced Gyokuyou, 玉=gyoku meaning jade, 葉=yo meaning leaf (not "you" as in the second person pronoun).

It's definitely gyo-kyo in the dub. Maybe the dub is wrong, but it's certainly easier for an English speaker to say. I don't see why it's such a big deal either way if it helps them learn her name.

Well they're saying the name wrong. Gyokuyou 玉葉 and Gyokyo are 2 completely separate things. Are you Diggerthedwarf or Tiggerthedwarf? Is it the same? No. You don't see the big deal because it's not your culture. The presentation/dubbing is in Japanese, and the Japanese borrowed Chinese characters (汉hàn字zì) as their kanji. So the average Japanese has much better knowledge and awareness of the Chinese language than average Westerners. And what are the chances of Western VA's being fluent in Chinese? Close to zero.
