You say it like Code "Ghey Ass". Sorry but I had to be creative with the spelling, don't be mad at me.

2026-09-10 01:00 Studio Clamp also did two great animes called Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and XXXholic. They are some of my favorites animes.

Oh man today is a good day. Fun fact about Code Geass, it is an anime original, not based on a Manga.

Jordan Grinde

People forget how dark this anime is

Mo za

Woow

Matthew

The demon king is finally here, this is top 5 anime for me

Jay Chauhan

I feel bad for the people who haven't found your channel yet ..

Bennett DuBois

"Gi" (like the dojo garb) + "oss" (like floss)

DaveJin

First time view for Code Geass as well. Heard about this throughout the years, just never got on the train. Looks like another banger of a show

Homerus

It's been so long since i've seen this show i barely remember anything, guess I get to enjoy this show again.

Reese Singh

I remember watching this as it aired way back. It became such a phenomenon and overshadowed a lot of hyped up series from the same period, it was the hottest thing since sliced bread, as Haylo alluded to at the beginning, Sliced bread had been invented earlier that year.

Hotshame

Oh my god this is heavenly now i can watch yall every single day for Code Geass AND one piece.

Sir sir

Hell yeah Code Jazz I love that show

Aerosmith02

Lmao I’d say it’s a “classic” too

Billy Dancel

I’m thrilled to see bits of Gundam in this!

zoomTACO

I'm excited to watch this one with you! First time for me, glad to be catching up with a classic

Chris Johnson

This prob has the best anime ending of all time. If not top 3 at the very least. (And by ending I mean the actual plot ending of the entire show).

Alexander Tonkins

I would be so happy if the ladies watched xxxHolic

EgregiousGrievous

Your right, I has always pronounced it the wrong way LOL.

EgregiousGrievous

It would be great too if they watch XXXholic but I think they have to watch Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle first even though the story are different; they did run concurrent to each other, they eventually crossover into each other, which is unusual for anime to do. BTW, Studio Sunrise did the animation for Code Geass anime but CLAMP did the character design though.

FlyingHavok

Seriously, I forgot how dark the 1st episode was, damn! The animation and character design still stands up is a testament as well. What a banger of a 1st episode!

Paulo

Oh wow, you guys are watching this one? Cool, actually I never finished this one I think I stop around ep6 maybe I don’t remember, so firstish time for me.

Jose Rodriguez

The privilege of being able to watch arguably my favorite anime of all time with my favorite reactors!

Tay

You guys reacting to this has finally convinced me to watch it (since I've only ever heard how much people love it) and oh man I was not disappointed with the first episode!! Its been a minute since I was hooked with a first episode of an anime like this! I'm beyond excited to continue this journey and get to watch it with you guys as well!! One piece, the apothecary diaries, and code geass is a fantastic lineup of shows :)))

Just to help clear some things up: Lelouch is ethnic and cultural Britannian. "Poison" is a metaphor, not literal - he didn't know what she was, but he realized that she was serious enough to be considered a "poison" for the Britannian Empire, which he could then protect since he hates them. Also, did y'all notice the flash during the "transfer" of those strange, humanoid beings in pinkish purple, all wearing the same symbol? Dare yourselves to think supernaturally, overlay that on everything. Including concepts of destiny, the Chosen ones or few, and more - even going beyond green-haired babe's own lore. I tend to find profound meaning and philosophical insights when I think like that for seeing shows this deep. Because naturally, we are taking these shows as other realities, so when magnanimous events and stories and lores and callings all align, it becomes beneficial to think there's always something divine at play. And by that, I don't mean interference, but at the very least...mechanics of.

I love when Kiss said 'I love the colours!' in the intro and the name of the song is 'Colours' . And as for the title, this is one of those cases where the CORRECT pronunciation is just incorrect for the story/title. So we just have listen out for the characters haha!

noa🦇💕

I remember the dub is so good for this show. Lelouch’s iconic “ill obliterate Britannia”😡

noa🦇💕

Oh wow i didnt even know that lol. Interesting

Thall

WAIT a second, the bald soldier guy has Jimbeis voice!
