I don't think there's a single bad episode of this show

"So sorry about the mispronunciation of Geass 😅" really don't worry about it This is an example of choosing to localize a name to look more "natural" for native English speakers, which I'd say was more common 2 decades ago. The main thing to remember: the "Ge" part of the name rhymes with the word "Key". If you want a precise explainer on it, keep reading, otherwise feel free to ignore what follows (it's long and y'all don't need to care that much if you don't want to). ギアス (the katakana form of what is localized as 'Geass') is romanized as "Gi-A-Su" You definitely said it right in episode 4, but if you want a quick helper: 'Gi' rhymes w/ the English work 'Key', 'A' sounds like the the 'a' in 'mama' or a sheep's 'baa', and the 'Su' is mostly just a 's' sound and where that final 'u' sound is mostly silent. 'Su' does sound like the name 'Sue' but the part of the name after the 'S' sound mostly cuts/fades off immediately. If you want another example of this: ウソップ, romanized to "U-So-p-Pu", or just "Usopp" The name DOES have a 'u' at the end of it, but once again, almost entirely silent. If you listen REALLY carefully when someone says his name from the Japanese voice cast, you can pick it up (just a quirk of the language). And I went on waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long... sorry.

Just as an fyi for pronunciation C.C is read as C2

Cheshire Cat

We're meeting Team Realist (Lulu and C.C.) and Team Naive (Suzaku and Euphy). These opposite ideologies will always clash. That said, Team Realist all the way!

We don't talk about Table-kun, as a matter of fact there's no such thing.

I’m still calling her Ceecee I’ve grown too fond of it already

Manny

That’s actually a good question CC didn’t know the name. Where did it come from? Was it said? I can’t remember. Did Lelouch just come up with it or just instinctively knew? 20:08 lol oh K 😅

Ocean Flan

That's the BEST episode

Ocean Flan

Yeah I hate that this is the sub where it's made CC. You clearly hear the voice actors say C2. Whathever they call her is fine though I guess. Her name really is C2 though.

Manny

Oh yeah a little pet peeve of mine are those secondary subs that take away a bit of the original dialogue away. Idk why they exist.

Your outro understandings and predictions are all spot on! Super smart and observant :)
