The full length is the only way to go for these episodes, otherwise what's the point?

HERE EARLY LETS GOOOO

Lee Wood

animation from here on starts to improve so much the fight is so good at its end

SS

Amazing! I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but they are often responding to eachother using futuresight! So conversations might seem flipped!

Kokuutou92

WE'RE WITNESSSSSING PEAKNESSSSSSSSS SSSS SSSS 🐍man! By far my favorite form! This is like gear 2 on roids. This is the most intense insane 1v1 fight ever since Rob Lucci at Enies Lobby.

Kevin Garcia

To the legend who suggested they watch 3 episodes, I salute you.

Alex A

What a great triple drop, peak fight you know it's serious when the animation turns into blocks big respect to Big Kat

RAMbot

lol, the autogenerated subtitles had me laughing so hard. When pudding passed out on the magic carpet, you laughed and said “she passes out,” but the captions said “her ass is out” lol 💀 🤣

Jeffrey Xue

It's a little tough to tell what's happening in the moment, but I love the little conversation in future-sight that Katakuri and Luffy have before he transforms into Snakeman. Katakuri shouts "is it over now?" but Luffy had already answered "Yeah it is" before he finished his question. Then Luffy says "if you can withstand this..." but Katakuri had already replied "I accept your challenge." It can get pretty confusing when you start responding to things that haven't been said yet!

NightmareModeGo

Remember he also had Tank-Man when fighting Cracker.

Lightwave

You got a glimps at the future peakness of the animation of this show here :D

Morpheus

"we are watching a triple" just hearing this made my day. also apparently this awesome music is katakuris theme, I need that in my playlist!!!!!!!

Satix

I find it a bit interesting how every one of big mom's kids refer to her as "mama" but katakuri said "big mom" when he asked Luffy if he'll come back.

Hotshame

Kiss: "We are watching a triple of ONE PISS"

Kevin Garcia

“He covered his face..” is the most important aspect that I wanted you guys to notice. Describing Luffy to my son’s mother I said, “he’s an idiot but he’s adorable. I love that kid.” And my son agreed with me. He was 15 at the time. Good job Toei. It’s hard to capture the little things like this.

FlyingHavok

Ye, can't believe I noticed it only this time around. So freaking cool seeing them respond to what the other is gonna say few moments in the future.

FlyingHavok

so many little things that make you love this fight and both characters.

FlyingHavok

Yep. TBH, I was hyped by Gear 4 first reveal but also a little disappointed by the design and overall power spike. Snakeman was very similar to what I had imagined regarding Luffy's post timeskip power up. Cool to see him expand his arsenal within Gear 4 regardless.

FlyingHavok

Episode 869 - Both responding to what the other is going to say in the future Episode 870 - Snakeman in all it's glory Episode 871 - "You're seeing quite far into the future" + Luffy putting the hat on Katakuri Peak is the only word that comes to mind. No other show comes close to making me feel the way One Piece does.

Kyle T

Boa Hancock must have had a Sanji-moment when Luffy turned into snakeman

Hasan Abdul-Jabbaar

I never thought about this. Maybe he differentiates his Mum 'Mama' with the emperor of the sea 'Big Mom.' So he's fine with him defeating her just not assassinating her maybe?

foxfire

His abilities are named after guns + animals a lot of the time. The animals get bigger as he gets stronger. But it all goes back to when he was a kid and told shanks his arms were like pistols.

FijiWater

lowk triple drop every one piece drop i need wano asap

NicoSilverArt

I just realized that they never aimed for their wounds even once 🥹

Mehdi

Just don't say wedding keiki ever again lmao

Thall

I gotta say, Dragonball Z Abdriged kinda ruined that fight for me a little, because all I EVER hear in my head during it is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO1TScQwu6g I lovehate it! Whole Cake Island as a whole is just such a cool arc. Everyone is so goddamn cool. That I only love

MotU_Shosha

This fight is just incredible. I love the mutual respect of Katakuri and Luffy. Luffy covering Katakuris face, Katakuri standing up just to fall on his back, supposedly for the first time in his life, as a sign to admit his defeat and of course Katakuri stabbing himself before they clash their Conquerors Haki and start the real fight on equal footing.

Saya Scarlet

This world does not deserve Sanji. Him and Pudding need to be shown together at the end of One Piece somehow... T_T
