I had to come to the full length because if I skip the Katakuri OST, what's even the point

I think Katakuri is the first antagonist in the entire series to get his own theme song. Also who were those goons feeling like? They were disrespecting someone with a billion bounty whose also their boss. Like wtf was going on in their heads? 🤣

RAMbot

What do you mean? Every antagonist gets their own theme song. My favorite is Caesar’s theme music.

Kevin Garcia

This is why I love Katakuri. He KNEW something was off.

I’m caught up in One Piece on both the anime and manga and I’ve watched this series several times. Although there are some exceptional scenes forthcoming this fight is unique. This arc is unique. Several things caught me off guard.

MotU_Shosha

I love the Katakuri OST and I love that epic Haki clash. I don't know how often I watched this scene and I don't know how often I listened to the OST or how many different versions of the OST I heard, but this is probably the moment I watched more times than anything in the whole anime.

Spiriax

When Luffy says, "They can't stand on their feet anyway!" I'm pretty sure he saw the future of them fainting.

Erik Župa

Flampe is so spoiled. Not even worthy for Katakuri to spank her. I cannot even call Katakur villain. He built his image to protect his younger brothers and sisters and he fights to protect them but he still wants to fight honorably. He is so cool, should have his own crew. His values are similar to Luffy's. If he would not serve under Big Mom I can imagine him being friend with Luffy after Luffy earned his respect. These two would be great duelists, both power users and using their fists. Something like Shanks and Mihawk.

"The people on the sidelines are annoying, THEY CAN'T STAND ON THEIR FEET ANYWAY" this scene was forever engraved in my head.

Kokuutou92

What? No he isn't...antagonists with theme songs: Caesar clown, Doffy, Big Mom, although katakuri's is the best

FlyingHavok

Man, such a cool and iconic exchange between the two. I was already in fanboy mode by Katakaru's line, but Luffy's response reminded me again why he's the MC.

Hasan Abdul-Jabbaar

I will absolutely be calling Jimbe 'Himbe' now thanks to Haylo

Dr. Puppy

Yeah, One Piece was much better directed in general, and fights were all choreographed, before Time Skip. Post-Time Skip, it's genuinely cringe and embarrassing and it makes me sad. it's gritting teeth and putting up with the cringe until something DECENT shows up for us to enjoy, after how many episodes at a time. It makes me so sad.

Dr. Puppy

Jesus Christ, Chopper's "little sis" thing is so cringeworthy...

Saya Scarlet

So much fucking respect for Katakuri man. And when the OST starts playing, jesus CHRIST. Chills every damned time. He's probably one of the coolest characters in the whole of One Piece, *hands down.*

Levy

Im officially saying Himbei from now on. Thanks ladies.
