hey anime fans 👋🏼 😂

Animated Chris

So the chapter appears as a section of Shonen jump magazine which is full of all kinds of different manga. The cover page usually has a caption underneath to describe what’s happening in the image.

🤓☝️on about how cover stories work... all of the +1100 Manga chapters have a "Cover page" that Oda draws, each manga chapter gets release weekly (on sundays) on a Japanese magazine called Shonen Jump These cover pages are separated into 2 "types" - Ones are these consecutive stories on which each cover continues to tell a story of characters we have meet (these are canon) - other bunch are "fan requests" that Oda get, lets say a kid asks Oda to Draw a character doing something funny with some animals (there are not canon) And both of them tend to have small descriptive texts of what it's happening And Oda "split" the bunches as... When a cover story ends, he does maybe +30 fan request or so, until eventually a new cover story starts and again when that story ends, more fan requests!

Hey Anime Fans im crying lol

DarnedStingray8

Yeah, Marguerite was the blonde Kuja warrior that Luffy "kidnapped" on Amazon Lily.

OKUCHINO ANIMES

The cover stories have a caption at the bottom explaining what the cover story is about when the chapter is released weekly, so there is text, but not on the cover; only the drawing with the events is on the cover.

Hey anime fans!

BeefNoodleSoup

Thanks so much for putting out these extra videos. Really fun seeing you experience and appreciate the entirety of the One Piece story.

Davo

There is text that goes with the cover pages in the manga. It even specifically says on Heracles’ page that he’s “not going back to the Boin archipelago yet”, whatever that means

Petition to have a giant poster where the video plays so it frames the video as it plays lol

Makino has a baby. Shanks attends a wedding. Hmmm... anybody else think that Makino's baby might be Shanks's? Maybe they are the ones who got married?!

Drew Garcia

If I remember correctly the reason Carne is upset is because his restaurant from Baratie was modeled after Sanji's first poster and now it's an actual picture.

Anthony Ramirez

wondering if the sisters have considered watching one piece movies, does anyone knows?

Albert Gandia Mòdol

just in case it may be an spoiler... -.- naaaaa I bet on Ace or Sabo... idk why but my guess is it is Ace's kid, but the hair of the kid reminds me of Sabo... maybe he went back to Goa kingdom to see Dadan, but Sabo never met Makino... I think that wedding is about someone else!

StrawHatX

cover stories are unique to One Piece. Oda uses the covers of the chapters to flesh out the world more and update on what is happening with other characters away from the strawhats. most other mangaka use the covers to draw cool pics of their characters

Mone

They already have watched the first few 😊 Next ones up are Film Z and Film Gold 🙌🏻 Really hope they'll be able to watch them soon 🤞🏻🥰 Oh, and I just realised (considering where they are episode wise) they should soon be able to watch Stampede as well 🤔😆

Mone

Was about to tell you the same, but you were faster xD Great timing :DD
