Just a question, they will no watch One Pace right? Its a shame really, wano is good but watching it in normal episodes the pacing is very bad. I watched it weekly when it aired and I would not do it again.

No, they won't watch One Pace. They have less than a year of One Piece videos left before they catch up to the current story. I think that's manageable. Before you know it, you'll miss having three One Piece reactions per week

They both have their pros and cons. One Pace has really weird cuts sometimes, that feel really out of place or cut out part of a sentence

I agree, mainly in pre-timeskip, but wano is much better in One Pace than the original.

I recently watched an episode of Wano in One Pace, because I wanted to check what they cut and it had this exact phenomenon, cutting part of a sentence, making it seem out of place. They definitely will never watch One Pace. Not just because of these reasons, but also because it doesn't make sense from a creator standpoint. Fewer episodes (i.e. less content), harder to follow in terms of episodes and people who dislike One Pace itself won't watch. It's good for a rewatch or for your own enjoyment, just doesn't make sense to watch it from a creator perspective

Just curious, what episodes are you talking about? I understand the creator viewpoint, but its a much more enjoyable experience to watch with One Pace in wano in my opinion, the work of Oda is in the manga and the anime pacing in this ark doesnt give Oda's work the greatness it deserves and some people may not enjoy it that much because of it. But I understand, thanks for the reply.

The episode I watched was 967 (?) I think, the one Megumi Ishitani directed. I think it's 30 of One Pace in Wano or 31. Something along those lines.

I have a zoror toothpick fact from Japanese culture! There is an expression that translates to roughly "Even a hungry Samurai holds his toothpick high." Meaning that even in desperate situations a samurai still has his pride. Thats why Zoro as a ronin carries one I believe.
