You can't imagine my excitement every time I refresh and see a Code Geass post, also Avalon was the name of the ship, not the brother.

Jose R

Yes we are just getting messy, the Emperor spoke the brother's name but Avalon is the ship.

FlyingHavok

Right, Euphy said Big Brother's ship "Avalon". What an entrance though... I liked Rakshata's old dub when seeing the Avalon. She said something like "I've been outdone". Gives an idea about the difference in the level of tech. Not sure which one was the correct translation though.

It’s natural to think of Suzaku as a good person or at least a better person than Lelouch, but why? Lelouch’s faults are easy to see and list. Why is it harder to remember that Suzaku has just as heinous a history: - killed his father - supports the domestic and foreign genocide as member of the military - upholds the segregation of the Japanese people as second class citizens He had a death wish so his proposed idea of changing the system from within is just lip service because he would give it all up to die for King and country. This story really starts to bash the different ideologies against each other at this point, and I’m here for it.

Leucon

Schneizel ,the emperor say his name in the start...

Sanji Sama

"Well, I've been outdone" is pretty much the right translation, could also be something like "One point for them I guess"

It’s probably my naïveté as a first time watcher but I wouldn’t say Suzaku supports genocide. I think because of killing his father so young he’s lived with a distaste and regret for rash bloodshed. He can’t avoid battle but he has principles and wishes for others to not go down that path. Cuz looking back it looked like a spur-of-the-moment thing (again first time watcher). “He killed his dad” yes but as a kid. LeLouch acknowledged how difficult it would be to live with that. And instead of stopping it made things worse & LeLouch still exploited that. It’s easy to call him a lapdog (and fair enough to call him that); but it’s not like people are applauding him; if anything many are looking at him in distain, waiting for him to turn traitor. He’s fighting on Britannia’s side but he’s not necessarily aligned with everything they say or do. He just believes in his idea of what justice is and belief on how things should be done. It’s hard to side with him because Brit has shown the most discrimination and is living normal to lavishly while others suffer. Still more lives are at stake and Zero has no problem killing and deceiving to get what he wants. I mean if Tohdoh knew exactly what happened with the ship blowing up and “sacrificing itself” who knows what he’d might say about that. Even though Zero’s squad has lost people they’re still committing acts like Britannia. And not to say they are bad people or I don’t see why that is but redundant as sacrificing himself to stop Zero may seem contradictory he simply can’t accept what Zero is doing or about. It’s better to stop him then and there but of course we already know how that turned out last reaction release.
