About Hayle theory on Momo potentially having the "eternal youth" surgery ... just helping Hayle with the numbers and years to refresh her memory 🤓☝️ We know Law eat the Op Op fruit 13 years in the past (he is 26 in the present, he was around 12-13 when Corazon saved him and he ate it) So there is still a 7 years gap between the 20 years in the past that was mentioned in here... but Momo is 8 years old sooo... somone could have perform the surgery on him and died 20 years ago, and since the user died the fruit respawns for law to eat it 13 years ago🤓☝️ And that would mean Momo has been 8 years old since then and cronologycally looks like this: - more than 20 years ago Momo did met Roger like he said - Eventually (around 20 years ago) someone performs the surgery on Momo after he turned 8 years old - user dies and Op Op fruti respawns - 13 ago Corazon finds the fruit and gives it to Law - Present time, Momo is still 8 :D Note: this has been debunked by the same episode explaining it was indeed time travel, but theorizing in one piece is just fun

Wildest thing to me is this all implies something as crazy as the time-time fruit has been out there for the last 20 years lol

There's quite a few things I would love to share with you guys today! I love these few episodes so much because of how poetic it all is!! First of all, I want to start by just letting you guys know that the name Kouzuki is written as "bright moon" in kanji, which might give you context on all the moons! And the name Oden is literally a food in Japan, where fish balls and vegetables are boiled in a soy-flavoured dashi broth hot pot. His father, Sukiyaki, is also straight up food, another hot pot dish that consists lots of meat and vegetables. No idea why they're named that. Next I want to introduce to you the idea of Kaidan Banashi. This is a Japanese culture where we tell ghost stories. We have many many legends and supernatural entities made in these stories that are passed down generations and generations. The snake lady in the school is based off of a yokai called "Rokurokubi" which is literally a story of a lady whose neck stretches. For reference, I was taught this story when I was little too, and this story has been around since the Edo period! This is probably why we got a bit of ghost references and Law being a little mysterious just to add to that cultural aspect of scary storytelling. Fun fact, in Thriller Bark there were quite a few Kaidan references (because you know the theming of that place), remember the girl who broke plates? That's actually a Kaidan story with a vengeful spirit who used to count plates at night. Now, the idea of "sakoku" and "kaikoku", if you know your history, you'd know that Japan had shut off entry and exit for a period of time in Edo. Those are the terms we use to refer to closing off a country and opening it. With that, my favourite bit, the story that Kyoushirou told about Toki's curse. I don't really have much to say about the content, but I just want to let you know that it is written so poetically. The pronunciation of words are very different to how modern Japanese sounds and I really love the imagery. It's just so beautiful and I want to convey that to you, because the visuals in the anime really capture the poetry of it all. And I don't normally write this kind of information because I don't want to influence your theories, but Zoro does not have a tattoo on his ankle, that scene was just a person with a tattoo walking past him. I hope saying this is okay... If not I'll totally remove it!

Maybe a new user is already in the future lol

Also another fun/interesting fact, Momo's mom name is "Toki", which in japanese means time 🤓☝️ Oda loves his wordplays so no wonder he gave her that fruit 🤓☝️

Tj Etgen

Don't worry. I also felt the same when I first saw this. Time travel in stories has always made me hesitate. Oda restricted it to just going one way and I feel that's the perfect nerf that kind of power needs.

Hesmiyu

Yes. It annihilates the timey-wimey issues associated with going back. The time traveller basically disappears until the future target occurs.

DaveJin

I love one piece

RAMbot

I’m pretty sure that moon ankle tattoo that you’re referring to was just the ankle of a random man passing by in Wano, not Zoro’s ankle. I could be wrong though.

Jose Rodriguez

I hope no one corrects them on Cat Storm and Dog Viper 🤣

Mone

28 year old Momo killed me 😂😂😂🙌🏻

BoomerBanzai

I love the comments at the end, you vindicate me so much. I've been watching your reactions since episode one and after every milestone event I would chime in and say, "IT GETS BETTER!" Exactly, when you think that this show has "maxed-out" it gets better. Well, Wano is PEAK PEAK Piece to me and a lot of my friends. My first watch through was when it first came out, and I was kind of "meh" to the whole time travel thing but with the Time Time Fruit only allowing the person to travel forward helped me accept it as a decent plot device too. Thank you so much for the years of enjoyment. This is my third watch through and you two have great insights and theories, keep them coming!!

Erik Župa

Oda is a clever man. Traveling to whatever time would break a whole story and his world building.

Erik Župa

Question is not how Dogstorm and Catviper ended up in Wano but how they got back to Zunesha. They were caught.

Disischarlie

It’s awesome knowing there’s a remanent loyal to the Kozuki clan… #WanoRemembers #DawnIsComing 😅😅😅

Disischarlie

When I first saw the video length I thought you were delivering 3 episodes, but no, we have 1 hour of H&K reacting to 2 episodes and making tons of theories… I love it! 🥳🥳🥳

charlie

you have my favorite discussions for this show. I love how much more confident you guys have gotten with your discussion and sharing your thoughts because both of you are some of the smartest and funniest reactors there is

L.Falo

might actually need to drop three episodes for the next one ladies🔥🔥🔥

Levy

We already came across a fruit thats closest to immortality (exluding Law's Perpetual Youth ability). Sugar with the Hobby Fruit stopped aging when she ate the fruit.

Kevin Garcia

I’d be ok with 4 episodes instead of 2 from here on out…just saying 🤣

Ian K

I cannot believe you didn't notice the whole ass other dude that was there the entire "flashback" wearing the giant hat. Ok, nevermind you mentioned them in your recap just not the episode itself
